توفّي هلي الرحباني، الابن الأصغر لجارة القمر الفنانة اللبنانية الكبيرة فيروز، بعد حياة طويلة رافقتها تحديات صحية وإنسانية قاسية، عاشها بعيداً من الأضواء، في ظل أمّ اختارت أن تكون حضنه الدائم وملاذه الآمن حتى اللحظة الأخيرة.
إعاقة ذهنية حركية
وُلِد «هلي» في 1958 وهو يعاني من إعاقة ذهنية وحركية، في وقتٍ لم تمنحه فيه التوقعات الطبية آنذاك أملاً كبيراً بالحياة؛ إلا أن ما لم تحسبه التقارير، كان قوة الأمومة. ففيروز، بصمتها المعروف ووفائها العميق، جعلت من رعايته قضية شخصية، ومن وجوده أولوية مطلقة، فكبر على إيقاع حبّ لا يُقاس ولا يُعلن.
لم يعرف «هلي» الشهرة، ولم يكن اسمه جزءاً من المشهد الفني، لكنه بقي حاضراً بقوّة في سيرة فيروز الإنسانية، كوجه آخر للأم التي غنّت للسلام والحنان، وعاشت ذلك كل يوم داخل بيتها، صور قليلة تسلّلت في السنوات الأخيرة كشفت جانباً من هذه العلاقة الاستثنائية، مؤكدة أن العزلة لم تكن غياباً، بل خيار للحماية والكرامة.
وجع جديد
ويأتي هذا الرحيل ليُثقل قلب فيروز بخسارة جديدة، بعد أشهر قليلة على وداعها نجلها الأكبر زياد الرحباني، الفنان والموسيقي المتمرّد، وقبل ذلك بسنوات على فقدان ابنتها ليال في عمر مبكر. اليوم، تبقى ريما وحدها إلى جانب والدتها، شاهدة على حكاية أمّ عرفت المجد، لكنها عرفت أيضاً الفقد بأقسى صوره.
رحل «هلي» بصمت، كما عاش، تاركاً خلفه قصة حبّ أمومي نادر، وجرحاً جديداً في قلب صوتٍ طالما داوى قلوب الآخرين.
Hali Rahbani, the youngest son of the moon's neighbor, the great Lebanese artist Fairouz, passed away after a long life filled with harsh health and humanitarian challenges, lived away from the spotlight, under a mother who chose to be his constant embrace and safe haven until the very last moment.
Motor and Intellectual Disability
Born in 1958, "Hali" suffered from a motor and intellectual disability, at a time when medical expectations did not offer him much hope for life; however, what the reports did not account for was the power of motherhood. Fairouz, with her well-known presence and deep loyalty, made his care a personal cause and his existence an absolute priority, allowing him to grow up in an atmosphere of love that is immeasurable and unspoken.
Hali did not know fame, and his name was not part of the artistic scene, but he remained strongly present in the narrative of Fairouz's humanity, as another face of the mother who sang for peace and tenderness, living that every day within her home. A few rare images that surfaced in recent years revealed a glimpse of this exceptional relationship, confirming that isolation was not absence, but a choice for protection and dignity.
A New Pain
This departure weighs heavily on Fairouz's heart with a new loss, just a few months after bidding farewell to her eldest son Ziad Rahbani, the rebellious artist and musician, and years before that to the loss of her daughter Layal at a young age. Today, Rima remains alone beside her mother, a witness to the story of a mother who knew glory, but also experienced loss in its harshest forms.
Hali departed quietly, just as he lived, leaving behind a rare story of maternal love and a new wound in the heart of a voice that has long healed the hearts of others.
