أعلن نادي مانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي، اليوم (الجمعة)، تعاقده رسمياً مع الجناح الغاني أنطوان سيمينيو، قادماً من صفوف بورنموث، بعقد لمدة 5 مواسم ونصف.
وقال مانشستر سيتي في بيان عبر موقعه الإلكتروني: «وقّع أنطوان سيمينيو، البالغ من العمر 26 عاماً، عقداً لمدة 5 سنوات ونصف، سيبقى بموجبه في ملعب الاتحاد حتى عام 2031».
وأضاف البيان: «سيكون سيمينيو متاحاً للمشاركة فوراً مع الفريق، كما يحق له خوض مباراة الذهاب في نصف نهائي كأس كاراباو أمام نيوكاسل، يوم الثلاثاء المقبل».
قيمة الصفقة
وبحسب تقارير صحفية، انضم سيمينيو إلى مانشستر سيتي مقابل قيمة الشرط الجزائي البالغة 65 مليون جنيه إسترليني، بعد موسم لافت مع بورنموث، سجل خلاله 10 أهداف وقدم 3 تمريرات حاسمة.
أول تعليق من سيمينيو
وعبّر الجناح الغاني عن سعادته بالانتقال إلى «السماوي»، قائلاً: «أنا فخور جداً بالانضمام إلى مانشستر سيتي، تابعت الفريق على مدار العقد الماضي تحت قيادة بيب غوارديولا، وكان الفريق المهيمن في الدوري الإنجليزي، إضافة إلى تحقيقهم إنجازاتٍ رائعة في دوري أبطال أوروبا وكأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي وكأس الرابطة».
وتابع: «لقد وضعوا أعلى المعايير، وهو نادٍ يضم لاعبين من الطراز العالمي، ومرافق عالمية المستوى، وأحد أعظم المدربين على الإطلاق، أتوق للعب أمام الجماهير هنا، وآمل أن أُظهر للجميع ما أستطيع فعله».
English club Manchester City announced today (Friday) the official signing of Ghanaian winger Antoine Semenyo, coming from Bournemouth, on a contract for 5 and a half seasons.
Manchester City stated in a release on their website: "Antoine Semenyo, who is 26 years old, has signed a contract for 5 and a half years, which will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until 2031."
The statement added: "Semenyo will be available to participate immediately with the team, and he is eligible to play in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Newcastle next Tuesday."
Transfer Fee
According to media reports, Semenyo joined Manchester City for a release clause of £65 million, after an impressive season with Bournemouth, during which he scored 10 goals and provided 3 assists.

The Ghanaian winger expressed his happiness about moving to "the Sky Blues," saying: "I am very proud to join Manchester City. I have followed the team over the past decade under Pep Guardiola, and they have been the dominant team in the Premier League, in addition to achieving remarkable successes in the Champions League, FA Cup, and League Cup."
He continued: "They have set the highest standards, and it is a club that features world-class players, world-class facilities, and one of the greatest managers of all time. I look forward to playing in front of the fans here, and I hope to show everyone what I can do."
