ربما يقضي الكاتب وقتاً طويلاً يشحذ ذهنه بهمة عميقة بحثاً عن خاطرة جديدة يستودعها الورق. فقبل أيام مررت بتلك الحالة كالعادة؛ فاهتديت إلى أن يكون حديثي اليوم عن نصف المجتمع (المرأة)، لما لها من دور حيوي نبيل في بناء الوطن والمجتمع، فهي التي تلد وتربي نصفنا الآخر، وهي الشريك الأساس في الحياة، وعليها تقع مسؤولية تربية الأجيال التي تشكّل المستقبل.

المرأة قوة أساسية في بناء أي مجتمع وتماسكه واستمراريته، وتستحق الوقوف لها احتراماً وتقديراً، أقول هذا من باب أمانة الكلمة، فالمرأة لنا الأم والأخت والزوجة والابنة والمعلمة والمربية، فهي ليست نصف المجتمع فحسب بل المجتمع كلّه.

إنها المرأة التي كفل لها ديننا الحنيف كامل حقوقها المشروعة دون تمهيش أو مصادرة (زواج، عمل، ميراث، ....)، إلا أنه لا يزال يصل إلى الأسماع حالات تسعى للالتفاف على هذه الحقوق بأساليب ليست حضارية ولا إنسانية، إذ ينظر إلى المرأة بدونية لا تتفق مع الدين والعقل والأخلاق، وتلك حالات شاذة لا تمثل إلا ضيق وثقافة وعقليات أصحابها. ولعل المتفحص للقضايا الواردة لمكاتب لجان الإصلاح وأقسام الشرطة والمحاكم؛ يقف أمامها واضعاً رأسه بين راحتي كفيه، لما تحمله من حالات مؤسفة مأساوية صنعتها مفاهيم وعادات وتقاليد بالية.. أشير هنا إلى شيء من عناوينها دون الدخول في تفاصيلها؛ مثل:

ـ امرأة تعثرت في الحصول على إرث والدها أو زوجها في زحمة الأطماع المحيطة بها من بقية الورثة الذكور الذين يرون في حصولها عليه معيباً.

ـ وأخرى عضَلها وليها طمعاً في راتبها، أو بسبب تفاصيل مواصفات النسب أو لعدم تطابق فصيلة الدم القبلي، والنبش في بعض الحِرَف المهنية وازدرائها.

ـ وثالثة تأخر كثيراً حصولها على عمل نقي مباح بسبب عقدة الشك والريبة.

ـ وطفلة انتهكت طفولتها بتزويجها بمن هو في سِن والدها طمعاً في ماله.

أخيراً

تلك المعضلات تستحق منا النظر إليها بموضوعية، وبما يتفق مع سماحة ديننا وعدالته، وبما نمتلكه في وطننا الغالي من عدالة اجتماعية، وبما جاءت به «رؤية 2030» من تمكين المرأة بزيادة مساحة مشاركتها في سوق العمل، وتعزيز دورها القيادي والريادي في مختلف المجالات التي أثبتت فيها نجاحها وإبداعها وتفانيها خدمةً لوطنها ومجتمعها.

The writer may spend a long time sharpening his mind with deep enthusiasm in search of a new thought to entrust to paper. A few days ago, I found myself in that state as usual; I was inspired to talk today about half of society (women), due to their vital and noble role in building the nation and society. They are the ones who give birth and raise the other half of us, and they are the fundamental partners in life. The responsibility of raising the generations that shape the future falls upon them.

Women are a fundamental force in building, cohesiveness, and continuity of any society, and they deserve our respect and appreciation. I say this out of a sense of responsibility for the word, as women are our mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, teachers, and educators. They are not just half of society; they are society as a whole.

It is women whom our noble religion has granted full rights without any diminishment or confiscation (marriage, work, inheritance, ...). However, there are still cases that reach our ears of attempts to circumvent these rights through methods that are neither civilized nor humane, as women are viewed with a condescension that does not align with religion, reason, and ethics. These are exceptional cases that only represent the narrow-mindedness and culture of their perpetrators. Perhaps those who examine the issues brought to the offices of reform committees, police departments, and courts will find themselves with their heads in their hands, due to the unfortunate and tragic cases created by outdated concepts, customs, and traditions. Here, I will point to some of their titles without going into details; such as:

– A woman who struggled to obtain her inheritance from her father or husband amidst the surrounding ambitions of male heirs who view her obtaining it as shameful.

– Another whose guardian obstructed her out of greed for her salary, or due to the details of lineage specifications, or because of a mismatch in tribal blood type, and the disdain for certain professional trades.

– A third who has been delayed for a long time in obtaining a permissible and pure job due to a complex of doubt and suspicion.

– A girl whose childhood was violated by being married off to someone her father's age out of greed for his wealth.

Finally

These dilemmas deserve our objective consideration, in line with the tolerance and justice of our religion, and with the social justice we possess in our dear homeland, and in accordance with what "Vision 2030" has brought in empowering women by increasing their participation in the labor market and enhancing their leadership and pioneering roles in various fields where they have proven their success, creativity, and dedication in serving their homeland and society.
