أدلى المليونير إنريكي ريكيلمي بصوته في انتخابات أعرق نادٍ في التاريخ «ريال مدريد»، منافساً وبقوة نظيره فلورنتينو بيريز على كرسي رئاسة النادي المدريدي.

يذكر أن ريكيلمي ألمح إلى نيته الترشح لرئاسة الريال منذ عام 2021، عندما صرّح لصحيفة «إل كونفيدينسيال» ومنذ ذلك الحين وهو يعمل على بلورة مشروعه، وهو معروف على مستوى العالم في مجال الاستثمار في الطاقة، إذ يملك 75% من أسهم شركة للطاقة المتجددة، التي أسسها في المكسيك قبل عقد من الزمن، ويعمل بها حالياً 15 ألف موظف، وتنشط في 30 دولة.

في المقابل، يسعى بيريز للبقاء في منصبه الذي حصل عليه بالتزكية في انتخابات أعوام 2009 و2013 و2017 و2021 و2025. وكان من المزمع أن تنتهي ولايته الحالية عام 2029، لكنه قرر إجراء انتخابات مبكرة بعد موسم سيئ لفريق كرة القدم، أعادت المنافسة من جديد.

وأعلن بيريز أنه سيعين جوزيه مورينيو مدرباً للميرينجي، في حال فوزه بالانتخابات، إضافة لضم نجم -لم يعلن عنه- بمقابل لا يقل عن 150 مليون يورو، بينما تعهد ريكيلمي باستقطاب نجمي مانشستر سيتي إيرلينج هالاند ورودري، إضافة للتوقيع مع المدير الفني يورجن كلوب، على ذمة تقرير نشره موقع كورة.
