أكد الإسباني جولين لوبتيغي مدرب المنتخب القطري لكرة القدم، جاهزية فريقه لخوض المواجهة المرتقبة أمام المنتخب السويسري ضمن منافسات المجموعة الثانية من بطولة كأس العالم 2026، معربا عن ثقته الكبيرة في قدرات لاعبيه على تقديم أفضل مستوياتهم، والظهور بصورة تشرف الكرة القطرية وتطلعات جماهيرها.

وقال لوبتيغي، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي، «إن المنتخب السويسري يعد من أبرز المنتخبات المشاركة في البطولة نظرا لما يضمه من لاعبين مميزين ينشطون في كبرى الدوريات الأوروبية»، مؤكدا عدم خشيته من المنتخب السويسري، والجاهزية التامة لهذه المواجهة.

وأضاف:«نحترم المنتخب السويسري كثيرا لكننا لا نخشى أي منافس، ودرسنا منافسينا جيدا واستعددنا لهذه البطولة بأفضل صورة ممكنة، ولدينا الثقة في لاعبينا وقدرتهم على تقديم المستوى المأمول».

واعتبر المشاركة في كأس العالم فرصة استثنائية للمنتخب القطري، حيث قال في هذا الصدد «نحن فخورون بخوض هذه التجربة العالمية، ونتطلع إلى كتابة صفحة جديدة في تاريخ الكرة القطرية.. ولدينا الطموح لتحقيق نتائج إيجابية، وسنسعى للاستمتاع بهذه اللحظات وتقديم أفضل ما لدينا أمام منتخبات كبيرة».

The Spanish coach Julen Lopetegui of the Qatari national football team confirmed his team's readiness for the anticipated match against the Swiss national team in the second group stage of the 2026 World Cup, expressing his great confidence in his players' abilities to deliver their best performances and to present themselves in a way that honors Qatari football and meets the aspirations of its fans.
