حسمت الهيئة الوطنية للملكية الفكرية ملكية العلامة التجارية المثيرة للجدل، وقررت رفض الاعتراض المقدم من نادي الاتفاق ضد تسجيل علامة "إتي جدة نادي الاتحاد - 1347 itti jeddah ittihad club 1927" لصالح نادي الاتحاد.

واعتمدت الهيئة بشكل رسمي تسجيل العلامة باسم نادي الاتحاد، لتنتهي القضية التي شغلت الوسط الرياضي خلال الفترة الماضية.

وكان نادي الاتفاق قد تقدم باعتراضه مستنداً إلى استخدام عبارة «إتي» في أغنية للفنان راشد الماجد وديوان شعر، وهي الحجة التي وُصفت منذ البداية بالضعيفة قانونياً.

وكان قد تم التأكيد سابقاً أن مصير الاعتراض الاتفاقي هو الرفض لعدم استناده إلى أسس نظامية تحمي حقوق الملكية، وهو ما أكدته الهيئة بقرارها النهائي.

وبهذا القرار، يصبح استخدام "إتي جدة" حقاً حصرياً مسجلاً لنادي الاتحاد.

The National Authority for Intellectual Property has resolved the ownership of the controversial trademark and decided to reject the objection submitted by Al-Ettifaq Club against the registration of the mark "إتي جدة نادي الاتحاد - 1347 itti jeddah ittihad club 1927" in favor of Al-Ittihad Club.

The authority officially approved the registration of the mark in the name of Al-Ittihad Club, bringing an end to the case that has occupied the sports community in recent times.

Al-Ettifaq Club had filed its objection based on the use of the phrase "إتي" in a song by the artist Rashid Al-Majed and a poetry collection, which is the argument that has been described from the beginning as legally weak.

It had been previously confirmed that the fate of the Al-Ettifaq objection was rejection due to its lack of legal grounds protecting property rights, which the authority reaffirmed in its final decision.

With this decision, the use of "إتي جدة" becomes an exclusive registered right for Al-Ittihad Club.
