أشاد المدرب الوطني يوسف الغدير بالمستوى الذي قدمه المنتخب السعودي أمام الكويت، مؤكداً أن الأخضر ظهر بتشكيلة مناسبة ذات نزعة هجومية، ونجح في فرض أفضليته تدريجياً، قبل أن يحسم المباراة ويحقق أول ثلاث نقاط في مشواره.

وأوضح الغدير أن المنتخب السعودي بدأ المباراة بتشكيلة مناسبة لطبيعة المواجهة، مع العمل على إغلاق المساحات أمام المنتخب الكويتي، مشيراً إلى أن التشكيلة حملت طابعاً هجومياً واضحاً، إلا أن أول 15 دقيقة لم تشهد ملامح فنية واضحة، في ظل كثرة الأخطاء من جانب المنتخبين.

وأضاف أن الفرص خلال الشوط الأول كانت متقاربة إلى حد كبير، مع أفضلية نسبية للمنتخب السعودي على مستوى الاستحواذ، في الوقت الذي ظهر فيه المنتخب الكويتي بانضباط تكتيكي واضح، خصوصاً في الجانب الدفاعي، ونجح في إغلاق المساحات والحد من خطورة لاعبي الأخضر.

وأشار الغدير إلى أن استمرار المنتخب الكويتي في الحفاظ على تماسكه كان من الممكن أن يزيد صعوبة المباراة على المنتخب السعودي، مؤكداً أن تسجيل الكويت أولاً كان سيجعل المواجهة أكثر تعقيداً على الأخضر.

وعن الشوط الثاني، أوضح الغدير أن الأفضلية أصبحت سعودية بصورة أكبر، لكن دون وجود تهديد صريح على مرمى الكويت حتى الدقيقة 70، قبل أن يتصاعد الأداء الهجومي للأخضر ويظهر تفاعل أكبر من لاعبيه.

وأشاد الغدير بالدور الذي قدمه همام الهمامي، خاصة في الجهة اليسرى، موضحاً أن تحركاته وتفاعله بصورة أكبر مع بداية الشوط الثاني أسهما في صناعة الخطورة، وصولاً إلى تسجيل الهدف الأول في الدقيقة 73، في أول ظهور دولي للاعب مع المنتخب السعودي.

وأكد الغدير أن أبرز ما ميز المنتخب السعودي في الشوط الثاني كان التماسك، خصوصاً في منطقة وسط الملعب، إلى جانب المحافظة على مستوى بدني جيد ومخزون لياقي مرتفع رغم ظروف الرطوبة.

وفي المقابل، أشار إلى أن المنتخب الكويتي بدا عليه الإجهاد مع مرور الوقت، وانخفض معدل اللياقة البدنية لديه، ما أثر على قدرته في مجاراة المنتخب السعودي، دون أن يتمكن من تشكيل خطورة واضحة على مرمى الأخضر خلال فترات مهمة من الشوط الثاني.

The national coach, Youssef Al-Ghadir, praised the level displayed by the Saudi national team against Kuwait, confirming that the Green Team appeared with a suitable lineup that had an offensive inclination, successfully imposing its superiority gradually before concluding the match and achieving its first three points in the journey.

Al-Ghadir explained that the Saudi team started the match with a lineup appropriate for the nature of the confrontation, working to close spaces in front of the Kuwaiti team, noting that the lineup had a clear offensive character. However, the first 15 minutes did not show any clear technical features due to the numerous mistakes from both teams.

He added that the chances during the first half were quite similar, with a relative advantage for the Saudi team in terms of possession, while the Kuwaiti team displayed clear tactical discipline, especially in the defensive aspect, successfully closing spaces and limiting the danger posed by the Green Team's players.

Al-Ghadir pointed out that the Kuwaiti team's continued cohesion could have made the match more difficult for the Saudi team, emphasizing that if Kuwait had scored first, it would have made the confrontation more complicated for the Green Team.

Regarding the second half, Al-Ghadir clarified that the advantage became more Saudi, but without any explicit threat to Kuwait's goal until the 70th minute, before the Green Team's offensive performance intensified, showing greater interaction from its players.

Al-Ghadir praised the role played by Hammam Al-Hammami, especially on the left side, explaining that his movements and greater interaction at the beginning of the second half contributed to creating danger, culminating in scoring the first goal in the 73rd minute, in the player's first international appearance with the Saudi national team.

Al-Ghadir confirmed that the most notable aspect that distinguished the Saudi team in the second half was cohesion, especially in the midfield area, along with maintaining a good physical level and high fitness reserves despite the humidity conditions.

On the other hand, he noted that the Kuwaiti team appeared fatigued as time passed, and their fitness level decreased, which affected their ability to keep up with the Saudi team, as they were unable to pose a clear threat to the Green Team's goal during important periods of the second half.

Al-Ghadir concluded his analysis by affirming that the Saudi team knew how to manage the match and maintain its cohesion until the end, benefiting from its technical and physical superiority in the second half, to emerge with three points and begin its journey with an important victory.
