تابع قناة عكاظ على الواتساب

محمد عبدالجواد ربما يكون بحسابات وتصنيف الأساطير ضمن قائمة (التوب تن) على المستوى المحلي والقاري، بل أعتبره أول من أسس للظهير الأيسر العصري في ملاعبنا، فهو أي محمد أحد نوادر كرة القدم ومع ذلك تجاهله الإعلام وحفظ حقه الجمهور، وتاريخه الذي لا تذكر إنجازات الكرة السعودية إلا ويأتي اسم أبوعابد ضمن قائمة المنجزين...!!!

عبدالجواد يعيش اليوم حالة صحية لم يشعرنا بها ونحن نزوره، بل يستقبل خوفنا عليه بابتسامة وروحه المرحة المعتادة، إلا أن عينيه وجسمه النحيل يكشف لنا تعباً أتعبنا...!!!

منعه الأطباء من استقبال الزوار بسبب قلة المناعة، ويصر على استقبال أحبابه فراداً وجماعات، متخذاً من حبه لهم وحبهم له مدخلاً لتبرير تمرده على التعليمات الطبية....!!

كنت في منزله الجمعة، وتحدثنا معه عن كل شيء إلا مرضه الذي قال عنه شدة وتزول....!!

أؤمن بأن محمد عبدالجواد لو طلب من قيادتنا العليا وقيادتنا الرياضية أي أمر يخص حالته أو أي أمر يحتاجه سيلقى طلبه اهتماماً واستجابة، وهذا ديدن قيادتنا حفظها الله مع كل مواطن....!!

ومن هذا المنطلق، وهذه مبادرة مني ولا يعلم بها عبدالجواد أن تولي وزارة الرياضة ممثلة في سمو الوزير عبدالعزيز بن تركي الفيصل حالة أسطورتنا اهتماماً خاصاً يتمثل في علاجه إن استوجب الأمر في أحد المستشفيات المتخصصة خارج المملكة....!!!

حالته تحتاج إلى رعاية خاصة، وكل هذا قد لا نجده إلا في خارج الوطن، لأن كثرة الزيارات ربما لا تخدمه في فترة تلقيه العلاج..!

أكرر.. هذه مبادرة مني، ولا أشك مطلقاً في أن تجد قبولاً وتقبّلاً عند وزيرنا الشاب الذي له مواقف تذكر فتشكر عند كل الرياضيين...!

Mohammed Abduljawad may be considered, in the rankings and classifications of legends, among the top ten at both the local and continental levels. I even regard him as the first to establish the modern left-back position in our fields. He, Mohammed, is one of the rarities in football, yet the media has ignored him, while the public has recognized his worth. His name, Abu Abad, is always mentioned among those who have contributed to the achievements of Saudi football...!!!

Abduljawad is currently in a health condition that he did not let us feel when we visited him. He greets our concern for him with his usual smile and cheerful spirit, yet his eyes and slender body reveal a fatigue that has worn us out...!!!

Doctors have prevented him from receiving visitors due to low immunity, but he insists on welcoming his loved ones, both individually and in groups, using his love for them and their love for him as a justification for his defiance of medical instructions....!!

I was at his home on Friday, and we talked about everything except his illness, which he described as severe but temporary....!!

I believe that if Mohammed Abduljawad were to request anything from our higher leadership or our sports leadership regarding his condition or any needs he has, his request would receive attention and response. This is the nature of our leadership, may God protect it, with every citizen....!!

From this standpoint, and as an initiative from me that Abduljawad is unaware of, I suggest that the Ministry of Sports, represented by His Highness Minister Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, give our legend special attention regarding his treatment, should it be necessary, in one of the specialized hospitals outside the Kingdom....!!!

His condition requires special care, and we may only find this outside the homeland, as frequent visits might not serve him well during his treatment period..!

I repeat.. this is an initiative from me, and I have no doubt that it will be accepted and welcomed by our young minister, who has shown commendable positions among all athletes...!
