في قصة تبدو كسيناريو من فيلم هوليوودي مرعب، اتهمت السلطات الفيدرالية الأمريكية شابين من شمال تكساس بمؤامرة دولية للانقلاب على جزيرة غوناف الهايتية، باستخدام جيش من المشردين كمرتزقة، بهدف قتل الرجال واستعباد النساء والأطفال لتحقيق «خيالات اغتصاب» مريضة.
وكشفت اللائحة الاتهامية، التي رفعت أمام محكمة اتحادية في المنطقة الشرقية لولاية تكساس، عن خطة دامت عامًا كاملاً، حيث وجه للمتهمين: غافن ريفرز وايزنبرغ (21 عامًا) وتانر كريستوفر توماس (20 عامًا) تهمة «التآمر على القتل أو الإيذاء أو الاختطاف في دولة أجنبية»، بالإضافة إلى «إنتاج مواد إباحية للأطفال».
ووفقًا للوثائق القضائية، بدأ الثنائي التخطيط في أغسطس 2024، واستمر حتى يوليو 2025، حيث سعيا إلى تجنيد قوة غير مشروعة للاستيلاء على جزيرة «غوناف»، التي تقع قبالة سواحل هايتي في خليج غوناف، ويبلغ عدد سكانها نحو 87 ألف نسمة، وتبلغ مساحتها أكثر من 266 ميل مربع نحو 690 كم.
خطة لقتل الرجال واستعباد النساء والأطفال
وتعاني الجزيرة، التي يمكن الوصول إليها فقط بالقارب أو الطائرات الصغيرة، بالفعل من الفقر المدقع والعزلة، ما جعلها هدفًا سهلا في مخططهما الشيطاني.
وشملت تفاصيل الخطة، كما وردت في لائحة الاتهام، شراء مركب شراعي للوصول إلى الجزيرة، بالإضافة إلى أسلحة نارية وذخيرة، مع التركيز على بناء «قوة مرتزقة» من المشردين في منطقة واشنطن العاصمة، حيث كان الهدف المعلن هو إطلاق انقلاب واسع، يتضمن قتل جميع الرجال على الجزيرة، واستعباد النساء والأطفال كـ«عبيد جنسيين» لتحقيق «خيالات الاغتصاب» الخاصة بهما.
وأظهرت التحقيقات أن وايزنبرغ انضم إلى أكاديمية إطفاء شمال تكساس في روكوال في أغسطس 2024 لتعلم «بروتوكولات القيادة والسيطرة»، لكنه فشل وطُرد في فبراير الماضي، وبعد ذلك، اشترى تذاكر طيران إلى تايلند في 20 فبراير للتسجيل في دورة شراع، لكنه تخلى عنها بسبب التكلفة، ما أخر الخطة مؤقتًا.
مؤامرة غير قانونية
أما توماس، الذي التحق بالقوات الجوية الأمريكية في يناير 2025، فقد أخبر وايزنبرغ عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي أنه انضم إلى الجيش «لدعم الهجوم المخطط» حيث بحث الثنائي أيضًا عن أسلحة عسكرية، وخططا لشراء بنادق هجومية، مع التركيز على تدريب القوات المستقبلية، كما اتهما بإنتاج فيديو إباحي يتضمن طفلًا، ما أضاف طبقة إجرامية أخرى إلى القضية.
وأصدر المدعي العام الفيدرالي جاي آر. كومب بيانا رسميا يصف الخطة بأنها «مؤامرة غير قانونية لقيادة قوة استكشافية غير مشروعة إلى جزيرة غوناف.. لتنفيذ خيالات الاغتصاب»، وأكدت وزارة العدل الأمريكية أن الاتهامات لا تشكل دليلاً على الإدانة، ويجب إثباتها في المحكمة، لكن التحقيق كشف عن رسائل ووثائق إلكترونية تثبت النوايا الإجرامية.
In a story that seems like a scenario from a terrifying Hollywood movie, U.S. federal authorities have charged two young men from North Texas with an international conspiracy to overthrow the Haitian island of Gonâve, using an army of homeless individuals as mercenaries, with the aim of killing men and enslaving women and children to fulfill their sick "rape fantasies."
The indictment, filed in a federal court in the Eastern District of Texas, revealed a plan that lasted an entire year, where the defendants: Gavin Rivers Eisenberg (21) and Tanner Christopher Thomas (20) were charged with "conspiracy to commit murder or harm or kidnapping in a foreign country," in addition to "producing child pornography."
According to court documents, the duo began planning in August 2024 and continued until July 2025, seeking to recruit an unlawful force to seize the island of "Gonâve," located off the coast of Haiti in the Gulf of Gonâve, which has a population of about 87,000 and covers more than 266 square miles (approximately 690 km).
A Plan to Kill Men and Enslave Women and Children
The island, which can only be accessed by boat or small planes, already suffers from extreme poverty and isolation, making it an easy target in their diabolical scheme.
Details of the plan, as outlined in the indictment, included purchasing a sailboat to reach the island, in addition to firearms and ammunition, with a focus on building a "mercenary force" from the homeless in the Washington, D.C. area, where the stated goal was to launch a wide-scale coup, involving the killing of all men on the island and enslaving women and children as "sex slaves" to fulfill their "rape fantasies."
Investigations revealed that Eisenberg joined the North Texas Fire Academy in Rockwall in August 2024 to learn "command and control protocols," but he failed and was expelled last February. After that, he purchased plane tickets to Thailand on February 20 to enroll in a sailing course, but he abandoned it due to the cost, temporarily delaying the plan.
Illegal Conspiracy
As for Thomas, who joined the U.S. Air Force in January 2025, he told Eisenberg via social media that he joined the military "to support the planned attack," as the duo also searched for military weapons and planned to purchase assault rifles, focusing on training future forces. They were also accused of producing a pornographic video involving a child, adding another layer of criminality to the case.
Federal prosecutor Jay R. Comb issued an official statement describing the plan as "an illegal conspiracy to lead an unlawful expeditionary force to Gonâve Island... to execute rape fantasies," and the U.S. Department of Justice confirmed that the charges do not constitute evidence of guilt and must be proven in court, but the investigation revealed messages and electronic documents proving the criminal intentions.
