اتهمت 22 دولة، اليوم (الخميس)، أجهزة استخبارات الحرس الثوري الإيراني وفيلق القدس التابع له، المسؤول عن العمليات الخارجية، بالانخراط في «مؤامرات قاتلة وأعمال خبيثة» ضد معارضين إيرانيين وصحفيين ومجتمعات ومصالح يهودية وإسرائيلية.

وطالبت الدول الـ22، ومن بينها الولايات المتحدة وعدد من الدول الأوروبية، في بيان مشترك، إيران بالتوقف عن استهداف أفراد على أراضيها، منددة بأجهزة الأمن الإيرانية لاستخدامها المشين للعصابات الإجرامية الدولية والمحلية في تنفيذ مؤامرات داخل أوروبا وأمريكا الشمالية وأستراليا.

وقال البيان: «إن محاولات القتل أو الاختطاف أو المضايقة أو الترهيب أو مهاجمة أفراد على أراضينا بأي شكل من الأشكال تقوض السيادة الوطنية والمعايير الدولية»، مضيفاً أن «هذه الإجراءات يجب أن تتوقف فوراً». وتابع: «نحن متحدون في عزمنا على حماية بلداننا وشعوبنا من هذه التهديدات، ويجب على إيران أن توقف هذه الأعمال الآن».

كما اتهمت الدول إيران بالوقوف وراء حملة هجمات في أنحاء أوروبا استهدفت مجتمعات يهودية وصحفيين إيرانيين وأمريكيين، وتبنتها جماعة «حركة أصحاب اليمين» المرتبطة بإيران، مبينة أن الحركة أعلنت مسؤوليتها عن عدة هجمات في المملكة المتحدة وبلجيكا وهولندا.

ووقعت على البيان كل من ألبانيا وأستراليا وبلجيكا وبريطانيا وبلغاريا وكندا وجمهورية التشيك والدنمارك وإستونيا وفرنسا وفنلندا وألمانيا وأيرلندا ولاتفيا وليتوانيا وهولندا ونيوزيلندا ومقدونيا الشمالية والنرويج والبرتغال والسويد والولايات المتحدة.

وكانت أستراليا قد طردت السفير الإيراني لديها في أغسطس (آب) من العام الماضي، متهمة طهران بالوقوف وراء هجومين على الأقل في ملبورن ومقهى كوشير في سيدني، كما سحبت كانبيرا سفيرها من طهران وعلّقت عمل سفارتها هناك.

وصنّفت أستراليا، في نوفمبر (تشرين الثاني) الماضي، الحرس الثوري الإيراني منظمة إرهابية، واعتبرت هجماته المزعومة على أراضيها أعمالاً عدوانية غير مسبوقة وخطيرة.

Twenty-two countries accused today (Thursday) the Iranian Revolutionary Guard intelligence and its Quds Force, responsible for external operations, of engaging in "deadly conspiracies and malicious acts" against Iranian opponents, journalists, and Jewish and Israeli communities and interests.

The 22 countries, including the United States and several European nations, demanded in a joint statement that Iran cease targeting individuals on their territories, condemning Iranian security agencies for their disgraceful use of international and local criminal gangs to carry out conspiracies within Europe, North America, and Australia.

The statement said: "Attempts to kill, kidnap, harass, intimidate, or attack individuals on our territories in any form undermine national sovereignty and international standards," adding that "these actions must stop immediately." It continued: "We are united in our determination to protect our countries and peoples from these threats, and Iran must stop these actions now."

The countries also accused Iran of being behind a campaign of attacks across Europe targeting Jewish communities and Iranian and American journalists, which was claimed by the group "Movement of the Right," linked to Iran, indicating that the group had claimed responsibility for several attacks in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

The statement was signed by Albania, Australia, Belgium, Britain, Bulgaria, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, and the United States.

Australia had expelled its Iranian ambassador in August of last year, accusing Tehran of being behind at least two attacks in Melbourne and a kosher café in Sydney. Canberra also withdrew its ambassador from Tehran and suspended its embassy operations there.

In November of last year, Australia designated the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization, considering its alleged attacks on its territory as unprecedented and dangerous acts of aggression.
