فتح الفنان المصري عمر كمال قلبه لـ«عكاظ»، وبدأ شاكراً لجمهوره في السعودية على محبتهم ودعمهم المستمر، وقال: «دائماً أشعر بحفاوة كبيرة في المملكة، وأعتز بكل لقاء يجمعني بهم. أتطلع إلى المزيد من الأعمال والحفلات التي تقربني من جمهوري السعودي، وأتمنى أن أكون دائماً عند حسن ظنهم».

وأضاف: «أنا مؤمن أن كل خطوة في مشواري كانت نتيجة تعب واجتهاد وصبر، والحمد لله أن الجمهور كان دائماً الداعم الأكبر لي. وأحضر خلال الفترة القادمة لأعمال جديدة أتمنى أن تنال الإعجاب وتقدم شيئاً مختلفاً يرضي كافة الأذواق».

«بنت الجيران» نقطة التحول

آمن عمر كمال بأن النجاح يحتاج إلى الصبر والإصرار، فواصل المحاولة رغم كل الصعوبات، وفي الوقت نفسه، كان المطرب حسن شاكوش يخوض رحلة مشابهة من السعي والطموح، قبل أن يجمعهما عمل فني أصبح نقطة تحول في حياتهما الفنية.

ومع نهاية عام 2019، حققت أغنية «بنت الجيران» صدًى لافتاً، لتتصدر المشهد الغنائي حينها، وتصل إلى ملايين المستمعين داخل مصر وخارجها، لتكون البوابة التي فتحت لعمر عديد النجاحات والحضور في مصر والعالم العربي.

Omar Kamal believed that success requires patience and determination, so he continued to try despite all the difficulties. At the same time, the singer Hassan Shakosh was on a similar journey of striving and ambition, before they were brought together by an artistic work that became a turning point in their artistic lives.

By the end of 2019, the song "Bint El Jiran" achieved remarkable resonance, topping the musical scene at that time and reaching millions of listeners inside and outside Egypt, becoming the gateway that opened for Omar many successes and a presence in Egypt and the Arab world.
