فجّر النجم الفرنسي تيري هنري تصريحات نارية حول قضية مانشستر سيتي المتهم بـ114 انتهاكاً لقواعد اللعب المالي النظيف في الدوري الإنجليزي.

وقال هنري في تصريحات متداولة: «يجب أن أكون صادقاً، إذا تمت إدانة مانشستر سيتي فلا أفهم كيف يكون خصم النقاط كافياً. إذا منحتهم هذه الانتهاكات ميزة، فيجب التشكيك في الألقاب التي فازوا بها».

وأضاف أسطورة أرسنال: «بالنسبة لي يجب سحب ألقاب البريميرليج، يجب أخذ الجوائز وتصحيح السجلات، ويجب أن تتجاوز العقوبة مجرد خصم نقاط، يجب أيضاً النظر في الهبوط».

وختم: «هذا ليس فقط بشأن مانشستر سيتي، إنه يتعلق بسلامة المنافسة. إذا انتهكت القواعد على هذا النطاق وتمت إدانتك، لا يمكنك الاحتفاظ بكل ما حققته والمضي قدماً بعد خصم نقاط. وإلا ما هي الرسالة التي نرسلها لكل نادٍ آخر؟».

The French star Thierry Henry made explosive statements regarding the Manchester City case, which is accused of 114 violations of Financial Fair Play rules in the English Premier League.

Henry said in widely circulated remarks: "I have to be honest, if Manchester City is found guilty, I don't understand how a points deduction would be enough. If these violations gave them an advantage, then the titles they won should be questioned."

The Arsenal legend added: "For me, Premier League titles should be stripped away, awards should be taken, and records should be corrected. The punishment should go beyond just a points deduction; relegation should also be considered."

He concluded: "This is not just about Manchester City; it’s about the integrity of competition. If you violate the rules on this scale and are found guilty, you cannot keep everything you achieved and move on after a points deduction. Otherwise, what message are we sending to every other club?"
