عبّر لاعب المنتخب العراقي إبراهيم بايش عن سعادته بالوجود في السعودية، مؤكدًا اعتزازه بالتجربة التي خاضها فيها، وواصفًا المملكة بـ«بلده الثاني»، قبل المواجهة المرتقبة التي يسعى خلالها «أسود الرافدين» لتحقيق الفوز وصدارة المجموعة.

وقال بايش، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي: «أرحب بكم في بلدي الثاني السعودية»، مؤكدًا أن معرفته بالأجواء في المملكة وتجربته السابقة فيها تمثلان محطة يعتز بها في مسيرته.

وعن المباراة، قال: «نعمل من أجل الانتصار، ونحن مستعدون للمواجهة لتحقيق الفوز وإنتزاع صدارة المجموعة».

وأضاف لاعب المنتخب العراقي: «اللاعبون عازمون على تحقيق النقاط الثلاث وصدارة المجموعة، وكل ما يطلبه منا المدرب سنعمل على تطبيقه داخل أرضية الملعب».

ووصف بايش المواجهة بأنها ستكون كبيرة للطرفين، مشددًا على أهمية تقليل الأخطاء من أجل حسم نتيجتها، وقال: «ننتظر مباراة كبيرة بالتأكيد للطرفين، والفريق الذي يرتكب أخطاء أقل في مباراة الغد ستكون لديه الفرصة الأكبر لتحقيق الفوز».

وتابع: «نحن عازمون كلاعبين على تحقيق النقاط الثلاث وصدارة المجموعة، وسندخل المباراة بهذا الهدف».

وأبدى بايش ثقته بإمكانات المنتخب العراقي وطموحاته القارية، قائلًا: «نحن قادرون على مجابهة أي منتخب في العالم، وطموحنا أن نكون ضمن أفضل ثلاثة منتخبات في آسيا».

كما تحدث عن تعامله مع منصات التواصل الاجتماعي خلال المنافسات، موضحًا: «كلاعب محترف يجب أن تعرف كيف تتعامل مع منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، وفي مثل هذه البطولات لا أحب متابعة هذه المواقع».

Baish said during the press conference: "I welcome you to my second home, Saudi Arabia," stressing that his familiarity with the atmosphere in the Kingdom and his previous experience there represent a milestone he cherishes in his career.

Regarding the match, he stated: "We are working for victory, and we are ready for the confrontation to achieve a win and seize the top of the group."

The Iraqi national team player added: "The players are determined to secure the three points and lead the group, and we will work to implement everything the coach asks of us on the field."

Baish described the encounter as significant for both sides, emphasizing the importance of minimizing mistakes to determine the outcome, saying: "We are certainly looking forward to a big match for both sides, and the team that makes fewer mistakes in tomorrow's match will have the greater chance of winning."

He continued: "We are determined as players to achieve the three points and lead the group, and we will enter the match with this goal."

Baish expressed his confidence in the capabilities and continental ambitions of the Iraqi national team, stating: "We are capable of facing any team in the world, and our ambition is to be among the top three teams in Asia."

He also spoke about his approach to social media during competitions, explaining: "As a professional player, you must know how to deal with social media platforms, and in such tournaments, I don't like to follow these sites."
