عقد مدرب منتخب البرتغال جورجي جيسوس اجتماعاً مع قائد النصر والمنتخب البرتغالي كريستيانو رونالدو، لاحتواء غضبه بعد عدم مشاركته أمام النرويج، (الأحد) الماضي، في دوري الأمم الأوروبية.

وغادر رونالدو الملعب عقب الفوز على النرويج 2-1، وتوجه إلى غرفة الملابس دون أن يشكر الجماهير، ثم انقطع بعدها عن تدريبات الفريق احتجاجاً على قرار المدرب، الذي وعده بالمشاركة أمام النرويج لمدة 30 دقيقة.

اجتماع لتهدئة رونالدو

وبحسب صحيفة «أبولا» البرتغالية، عقد جيسوس اجتماعاً مع رونالدو الليلة الماضية، وسارت المحادثة بين المدرب والقائد بسلاسة، ما ساهم في تخفيف حدة التوتر.

تدخل رئيس الاتحاد

وأضافت الصحيفة أن اجتماعاً آخر عُقد بين جيسوس ورونالدو صباح اليوم (الأربعاء)، بحضور رئيس الاتحاد البرتغالي بيدرو بروينسا، وكانت الأمور أكثر هدوءاً.

البرتغال تواجه الدنمارك

ويلتقي منتخب البرتغال مع الدنمارك غداً، ضمن منافسات الجولة الثالثة من دوري الأمم الأوروبية، بحثاً عن الانتصار الثالث وتأكيد صدارة المجموعة.

According to the Portuguese newspaper "A Bola," Jesus held a meeting with Ronaldo last night, and the conversation between the coach and the captain went smoothly, which helped ease the tension.

Intervention of the Federation President

The newspaper added that another meeting took place between Jesus and Ronaldo this morning (Wednesday), in the presence of the President of the Portuguese Football Federation, Pedro Proença, and things were calmer.

Portugal Faces Denmark

The Portugal national team will face Denmark tomorrow in the third round of the UEFA Nations League, seeking their third victory and confirming their lead in the group.
