يغلق المنتخب السعودي الأول لكرة القدم تدريباته غداً (الإثنين) أمام وسائل الإعلام، ضمن تحضيراته لمواجهة نظيره الكويتي الأربعاء القادم، ضمن الجولة الأولى من دور المجموعات في كأس الخليج العربي «خليجي 27»، التي تستضيفها جدة.

وكان لاعبو الأخضر قد أجروا حصتهم التدريبية اليوم (الأحد) على ملاعب التدريب بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية في جدة، تحت إشراف دونيس، واستهلت الحصة بتمارين الاستحواذ على الكرة، قبل الانتقال إلى مران تكتيكي ركز خلاله الجهاز الفني على الجانبين الدفاعي والهجومي.

وعلى صعيد متصل، انتظم مساء اليوم في معسكر الأخضر بجدة لاعبو الأهلي ريان حامد، وصالح أبو الشامات، وزكريا هوساوي، وزياد الجهني، وفراس البريكان، بعد فراغهم من المشاركة مع ناديهم في بطولة كأس القارات FIFA، إلى جانب لاعب الاتحاد مختار علي، الذي استدعاه الجهاز الفني للانضمام إلى قائمة المنتخب.

وشهدت الحصة التدريبية مشاركة اللاعب مختار علي إضافة إلى لاعبي النادي الأهلي الذين لم يشاركوا بصفة أساسية في مباراتهم مع ناديهم أمس (السبت)، في حين خصص الجهاز الفني تمارين استرجاعية للاعبين الذين شاركوا بصفة أساسية في المباراة بهدف استعادة جاهزيتهم البدنية قبل الدخول في التحضيرات الفنية للمواجهة.

ويعتزم المدير الفني للأخضر جورجيوس دونيس استغلال الحصة التدريبية المغلقة للتركيز على الجوانب الفنية والتكتيكية، وتطبيق عدد من الجمل التي ينوي الاعتماد عليها في مواجهة الكويت، قبل الاستقرار على التشكيلة الأساسية التي سيخوض بها اللقاء، وسط جاهزية جميع عناصر المنتخب، ما يمنح الجهاز الفني خيارات متعددة قبل اللقاء الافتتاحي الذي يسعى الأخضر السعودي من خلاله إلى تدشين مشواره في البطولة بنتيجة إيجابية تمنحه دفعة قوية للمنافسة خلال بقية مبارياته.

The Saudi national football team will close its training sessions to the media tomorrow (Monday) as part of its preparations to face its Kuwaiti counterpart next Wednesday, in the first round of the group stage of the Arabian Gulf Cup "Gulf 27," which is hosted by Jeddah.

The players of the Green team conducted their training session today (Sunday) at the training fields of King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, under the supervision of Donis. The session began with ball possession exercises, before moving on to tactical training that focused on both defensive and offensive aspects.

In a related context, players from Al-Ahli, Rayan Hamad, Saleh Abu Shamat, Zakaria Hawsawi, Ziad Al-Jahani, and Firas Al-Buraikan joined the Green camp in Jeddah this evening after finishing their participation with their club in the FIFA Confederations Cup, along with Al-Ittihad player Mukhtar Ali, who was called up by the coaching staff to join the national team roster.

The training session saw the participation of player Mukhtar Ali in addition to the Al-Ahli players who did not play as starters in their match against their club yesterday (Saturday), while the coaching staff allocated recovery exercises for the players who participated as starters in the match to restore their physical readiness before entering the technical preparations for the upcoming match.

The head coach of the Green team, Georgios Donis, intends to utilize the closed training session to focus on the technical and tactical aspects, and to implement several strategies that he plans to rely on in the match against Kuwait, before finalizing the starting lineup for the encounter, with all team members ready, which gives the coaching staff multiple options before the opening match that the Saudi Green team aims to kick off its journey in the tournament with a positive result that will provide a strong boost for competition in its remaining matches.
