جدد المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية تومي بيجوت التأكيد على أن الولايات المتحدة ملتزمة بتعهداتها تجاه السعودية وستواصل الوفاء بها.

وأعلن بيجوت أن واشنطن على تواصل مع المملكة في ظل التطورات المرتبطة بالحوثيين في اليمن. وقال بيجوت إن وزير الخارجية ماركو روبيو «كان واضحاً» بشأن موقف واشنطن من السعودية، مضيفاً: «نحن ملتزمون بتعهداتنا تجاه شركائنا السعوديين، وسنواصل الوفاء بها».

أكدت الحكومة اليمنية أن عملية «فجر اليمن» تمثل «مرحلة جديدة» في مسار استعادة مؤسسات الدولة وإنهاء سيطرة جماعة الحوثي، وأن إعلان رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي رشاد العليمي انطلاق العملية جاء في إطار مسؤولياته الدستورية والقانونية لحماية المواطنين وصون سيادة البلاد. وقال مندوب اليمن الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة السفير عبد الله السعدي، خلال جلسة لمجلس الأمن الدولي بشأن اليمن، إن العملية تهدف إلى استكمال تحرير ما تبقى من الأراضي اليمنية وصولاً إلى العاصمة صنعاء، وإنهاء دوامة الحرب واستعادة الأمن والاستقرار والسلام في اليمن والمنطقة.

The spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, Tommy Pigott, reiterated that the United States is committed to its obligations towards Saudi Arabia and will continue to fulfill them.

Pigott announced that Washington is in contact with the Kingdom regarding developments related to the Houthis in Yemen. He stated that Secretary of State Marco Rubio "has been clear" about Washington's position on Saudi Arabia, adding: "We are committed to our obligations to our Saudi partners, and we will continue to fulfill them."

The Yemeni government confirmed that the "Dawn of Yemen" operation represents a "new phase" in the process of restoring state institutions and ending the control of the Houthi group. The announcement by the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, regarding the launch of the operation came within the framework of his constitutional and legal responsibilities to protect citizens and preserve the sovereignty of the country. Yemen's permanent representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Abdullah Al-Saadi, stated during a session of the UN Security Council on Yemen that the operation aims to complete the liberation of the remaining Yemeni territories leading to the capital, Sana'a, and to end the cycle of war and restore security, stability, and peace in Yemen and the region.
