أجرى مفاوضون أمريكيون وأوروبيون وأوكرانيون محادثات استمرت ست ساعات في مدينة ميامي الأمريكية، أمس (الجمعة)، بهدف التوصل إلى اتفاق حول مقترح موحد لإنهاء الحرب في أوكرانيا.

وأعلن مصدر مطلع على سير المحادثات، طلب عدم الكشف عن هويته، أن الهدف يتمثل في الاتفاق على هذا المقترح خلال الأسابيع القادمة، تمهيداً لتقديمه إلى روسيا سعياً لتحقيق اختراق سياسي قبل حلول فصل الشتاء، وفق ما نقلت عنه وكالة «رويترز».

وشارك في محادثات ميامي المبعوثان الأمريكيان ستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر، إلى جانب وفود من أوكرانيا وممثلين عن أوروبا وحلف شمال الأطلسي (الناتو). وحسب المصدر، فإن المفاوضين ناقشوا مجموعة واسعة من القضايا المرتبطة بمرحلة ما بعد الحرب، من بينها حزمة دعم لأوكرانيا تشمل ضمانات أمنية من الولايات المتحدة والدول الأوروبية. وتناولت المباحثات خطة اقتصادية لإعادة بناء أوكرانيا بعد الحرب، إضافة إلى بحث مسار انضمام كييف للاتحاد الأوروبي.

وناقشت الوفود "بعض الأفكار" المتعلقة بالأراضي، دون تقديم مزيد من التفاصيل. وقال المصدر إن الوفود ناقشت أيضاً تصوراً لهيكل أمني بين أوروبا وروسيا من شأنه أن يرسخ الاستقرار ويمهد لسنوات من السلام في المستقبل، دون الكشف عن تفاصيل إضافية.

American, European, and Ukrainian negotiators held six hours of talks in Miami, USA, yesterday (Friday), with the aim of reaching an agreement on a unified proposal to end the war in Ukraine.

A source familiar with the talks, who requested anonymity, announced that the goal is to agree on this proposal in the coming weeks, in preparation for presenting it to Russia in an effort to achieve a political breakthrough before winter, according to what was reported by the "Reuters" agency.

The Miami talks included American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, along with delegations from Ukraine and representatives from Europe and NATO. According to the source, the negotiators discussed a wide range of issues related to the post-war phase, including a support package for Ukraine that includes security guarantees from the United States and European countries. The discussions also covered an economic plan for rebuilding Ukraine after the war, in addition to exploring the path for Kyiv's accession to the European Union.

The delegations discussed "some ideas" related to territories, without providing further details. The source stated that the delegations also discussed a vision for a security structure between Europe and Russia that would solidify stability and pave the way for years of peace in the future, without disclosing additional details.

These discussions come amid stalled diplomatic efforts to end the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine since February 2022, despite repeated attempts to launch a negotiation process leading to a political settlement. In recent months, the United States and European countries have intensified their efforts to find a negotiation framework that could pave the way for a ceasefire and reach a permanent agreement to end the conflict. While Ukraine insists on the necessity of Russia relinquishing the territories it has occupied during the war, President Donald Trump believes that reaching a peace agreement will require concessions from both sides.
