أعلن وزير الخارجية الروسي سيرغي لافروف، اليوم (الإثنين)، استعداد بلاده للوساطة بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران، والمساعدة في إيجاد حلولٍ مقبولةٍ للطرفين، وذلك خلال مؤتمرٍ صحفيٍّ مشتركٍ مع نظيره الإيراني عباس عراقجي في طهران.

وقال لافروف إن الجانبين ناقشا الوضع الناجم عن الحرب الإيرانية، مؤكداً استعداد موسكو للمساعدة في إيجاد حلولٍ للخروج من الأزمة. وشدد على ضرورة منح الدول المطلة على الخليج دوراً أساسياً في تحديد سبل ضمان التنمية الآمنة لهذه المنطقة الإستراتيجية، موضحاً أن روسيا تسعى إلى استقرار سوق النفط ولا تهتم بتقلبات الأسعار.

وأكد الوزير الروسي أن بلاده لا تعتزم التخلي عن اتفاقياتها الاقتصادية والاستثمارية مع إيران، رغم الظروف الصعبة، مشيراً إلى استمرار التزام موسكو بتنفيذ الاتفاقيات المبرمة بين البلدين.

من جانبه، حمّل عراقجي الولايات المتحدة مسؤولية التوترات وانعدام الأمن في مضيق هرمز، داعياً إلى اعتماد الدبلوماسية لمعالجة القضايا الإقليمية. وقال إن طهران ترحب بأي مبادرة تحقق الأمن الإقليمي دون وجود قوات أجنبية، مضيفاً: «نرحب بأي مبادرة تؤدي إلى تحقيق الأمن من الداخل دون وجود قوات أجنبية، ونعتبر ذلك خطوةً صائبةً».

ومن المقرر أن يلتقي لافروف، خلال زيارته إلى طهران، الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بيزشكيان، لإجراء مباحثاتٍ بشأن القضايا الدولية والإقليمية الراهنة.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced today (Monday) his country's readiness to mediate between the United States and Iran, and to help find mutually acceptable solutions, during a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi in Tehran.

Lavrov stated that the two sides discussed the situation resulting from the Iranian war, emphasizing Moscow's readiness to assist in finding solutions to exit the crisis. He stressed the need to grant the Gulf countries a fundamental role in determining ways to ensure the safe development of this strategic region, explaining that Russia seeks to stabilize the oil market and is not concerned with price fluctuations.

The Russian minister confirmed that his country does not intend to abandon its economic and investment agreements with Iran, despite the difficult circumstances, pointing out Moscow's continued commitment to implementing the agreements concluded between the two countries.

For his part, Araghchi held the United States responsible for the tensions and insecurity in the Strait of Hormuz, calling for diplomacy to address regional issues. He stated that Tehran welcomes any initiative that achieves regional security without the presence of foreign forces, adding: "We welcome any initiative that leads to achieving security from within without the presence of foreign forces, and we consider that a correct step."

Lavrov is scheduled to meet during his visit to Tehran with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to discuss current international and regional issues.
