دانت مملكة البحرين واستنكرت بشدة تصاعد الاعتداءات الإرهابية التي تنفذها مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية ضد المملكة العربية السعودية، واستمرار محاولاتها المتكررة والمتعمدة لاستهداف المدنيين والأعيان المدنية في العاصمة الرياض، ومدن بيش والطائف وفرسان وينبع، باعتبارها انتهاكاً صارخاً لقواعد القانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني وميثاق الأمم المتحدة وقرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة.

وأكدت وزارة الخارجية البحرينية تضامن مملكة البحرين الكامل مع المملكة العربية السعودية، ودعمها التام لكل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لصون سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها وحماية مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها، وفقاً للمادة (51) من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، مؤكدةً أن أمنها واستقرارها جزء لا يتجزأ من الأمن الوطني لمملكة البحرين، مشيدةً بكفاءة قوات الدفاع الجوي الملكي السعودي وجاهزيتها العالية في التصدي لهذه الاعتداءات الإرهابية وإحباطها، ونجاحها في اعتراض وتدمير صاروخ باليستي أطلقته الميليشيا الحوثية باتجاه مدينة الرياض.

وجددت دعوة مملكة البحرين مجلس الأمن إلى الاضطلاع بمسؤولياته واتخاذ موقف حازم لوقف الاعتداءات الحوثية الإرهابية المتكررة التي تستهدف المدنيين والأعيان المدنية في المملكة العربية السعودية، ومحاسبة مرتكبيها، وتنفيذ قراراته ذات الصلة، وفي مقدمتها القرار رقم (2216).

The Kingdom of Bahrain condemned and strongly denounced the escalation of terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the continued deliberate attempts to target civilians and civilian objects in the capital Riyadh, and the cities of Bisha, Taif, Farasan, and Yanbu, considering it a blatant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, the United Nations Charter, and relevant Security Council resolutions.

The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its complete support for all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability, and to protect its citizens and residents on its territory, in accordance with Article (51) of the United Nations Charter, emphasizing that its security and stability are an integral part of the national security of the Kingdom of Bahrain. It praised the efficiency of the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces and their high readiness to confront and thwart these terrorist attacks, and their success in intercepting and destroying a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militia towards the city of Riyadh.

The Kingdom of Bahrain renewed its call for the Security Council to assume its responsibilities and take a firm stance to stop the repeated Houthi terrorist attacks targeting civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, hold the perpetrators accountable, and implement its relevant resolutions, foremost among them Resolution No. (2216).
