واصل نجم الأهلي رياض محرز، كتابة التاريخ رفقة منتخب الجزائر في بطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية 2025، بعدما قاد «الخضر» للفوز على بوركينا فاسو بهدف نظيف سجله من ركلة جزاء، في المباراة التي أقيمت أمس (الأحد)، ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية من دور المجموعات.

وكان محرز قد استهل مشواره في البطولة القارية بأداء لافت، إذ سجل هدفين في فوز الجزائر على السودان بثلاثية نظيفة، في الجولة الافتتاحية.

محرز يعادل رقمي رابح ماجر

وعادل رياض محرز الرقم القياسي المسجل باسم الأسطورة رابح ماجر، كأكثر لاعب جزائري مشاركة في نهائيات كأس الأمم الأفريقية، برصيد 22 مباراة.

كما تساوى محرز مع ماجر في عدد المساهمات التهديفية عبر تاريخ مشاركات المنتخب الجزائري في «أمم أفريقيا»، بواقع 11 مساهمة تهديفية لكل منهما.

نجم الأهلي يتجاوز تاسفاوت

ووصل محرز إلى هدفه الدولي رقم 37 مع منتخب بلاده، ليفك الشراكة مع عبدالحفيظ تاسفاوت، وينفرد بالمركز الثاني في قائمة هدافي الجزائر التاريخيين، خلف إسلام سليماني المتصدر برصيد 46 هدفاً.

Al Ahly star, Riyad Mahrez, continues to make history with the Algerian national team in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, after leading "Les Verts" to victory over Burkina Faso with a clean goal scored from a penalty, in the match held yesterday (Sunday), as part of the second round of the group stage.

Mahrez had started his journey in the continental tournament with an impressive performance, scoring two goals in Algeria's 3-0 win over Sudan in the opening round.

Mahrez equals Rabah Madjer's records

Riyad Mahrez equaled the record held by the legend Rabah Madjer, as the most capped Algerian player in the Africa Cup of Nations finals, with a total of 22 matches.

Mahrez also matched Madjer in the number of goal contributions throughout the history of the Algerian national team's participation in the "Africa Cup," with 11 goal contributions each.

The Al Ahly star surpasses Tassafout

Mahrez reached his 37th international goal with his national team, breaking the tie with Abdelhafid Tassafout, and taking sole possession of second place in the list of Algeria's all-time top scorers, behind Islam Slimani, who leads with 46 goals.
