حسم الفنان وائل جسار الجدل المثار حول سبب مغادرته المسرح في حفل رأس السنة ببغداد، نافيًا بشكل قاطع أن يكون ذلك بسبب ارتباطه بحفل آخر في نفس القرية.
وأكد جسار في تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ» أن ما تم تداوله خلال الساعات الماضية في هذا الشأن عارٍ تمامًا من الصحة، موضحًا أنه يفصل بين الحفلين نحو ساعتين كاملتين.
احترام الالتزامات الفنية
وأضاف جسار أنه يتعامل مع جميع حفلاته بمنتهى الجدية والاحترام، لافتًا إلى أنه يضع جدولًا مدروسًا مسبقًا يضمن لكل حفل وقته وحقه الكامل دون أي تقصير.
وأضاف الفنان اللبناني أن انفعاله في حفل بغداد كان بسبب موقف فني فرضه خلل تقني لمس جوهر العرض الغنائي، مشيراً إلى أن فريقه أرسل مسبقًا كل المعلومات إلى الجهة المنظمة للحفل، متضمناً جميع المتطلبات الأساسية لضمان جودة عالية.
وأكد جسار أن الجمهور العراقي انصف موقفه وما حدث بالفعل، معبراً عن امتنانه لتفهم الجمهور ودعمهم له، مشيراً إلى أن وقوفهم إلى جانبه منحه شعورًا بالطمأنينة، ومتمنيًا أن تشهد الفعاليات القادمة تنظيمًا أفضل وأكثر احترافية.
Artist Wael Jassar has settled the controversy surrounding the reason for his departure from the stage during the New Year's Eve concert in Baghdad, firmly denying that it was due to his commitment to another concert in the same village.
Jassar confirmed in a special statement to "Okaz" that what has been circulated in recent hours regarding this matter is completely untrue, explaining that there is a full two-hour gap between the two concerts.
Respecting Artistic Commitments
Jassar added that he treats all his concerts with utmost seriousness and respect, noting that he prepares a well-thought-out schedule in advance that ensures each concert gets its full time and rights without any shortcomings.
The Lebanese artist further explained that his excitement during the Baghdad concert was due to an artistic situation caused by a technical malfunction that affected the essence of the musical performance, pointing out that his team had previously sent all the necessary information to the event organizers, including all the essential requirements to ensure high quality.
Jassar confirmed that the Iraqi audience justified his position and what actually happened, expressing his gratitude for the audience's understanding and support, noting that their standing by him gave him a sense of reassurance, and wishing that future events would witness better and more professional organization.
