وصف المستشار الإعلامي والمهتم بالشأن الرياضي، طلال الناشري، بطولة كأس العالم 2026 بـ«الرحلة الإنسانية» قبل أن تكون حدثاً كروياً، مؤكداً أن الملاعب في أمريكا والمكسيك وكندا ستشهد كتابة حكايات جديدة وتاريخاً مختلفاً في عالم الساحرة المستديرة.

وقال الناشري في تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ» إن المونديال القادم يحمل طابعاً استثنائياً كونه يُقام للمرة الأولى بمشاركة 48 منتخباً وباستضافة ثلاث دول، ما يمنحه بعداً جغرافياً وثقافياً غير مسبوق. وأضاف: «الحدث لم يعد مقتصراً على الـ90 دقيقة داخل الملعب، بل امتد ليصبح منصة عالمية للحوار بين الشعوب، وفرصة لعرض ثقافات الأمم، وتجسيد قيم الاحترام والتعايش».

وأشار إلى أن كأس العالم تمثل فرصة نادرة للأجيال الجديدة لتتعرف على معنى «المونديال» الحقي، ليس فقط من خلال الأهداف والبطولات، بل عبر ما يصاحبه من تفاعل جماهيري وروايات إنسانية تصنعها الجماهير من مختلف القارات، وتابع:«كل نسخة تترك أثراً.. حكاية لاعب من الشارع وصل للعالمية، أو دمعة مشجع عاش الحلم بعد انتظار طويل. هذه التفاصيل هي التي تجعل من كأس العالم حدثاً لا يُنسى».

وختم الناشري حديثه بالتأكيد على أن نسخة 2026 ستكون مختلفة بكل المقاييس، سواء على مستوى التنظيم أو المشاركة أو الحضور الجماهيري، مشدداً على أن العالم سيعيش «شهراً كاملاً من الفرح الكروي الذي يعبر الحدود واللغات»، وأن الملاعب ستكون مسرحاً لكتابة فصل جديد في تاريخ كرة القدم.

Al-Nashari stated in a special interview with "Okaz" that the upcoming World Cup has an exceptional character as it will be held for the first time with the participation of 48 teams and the hosting of three countries, giving it an unprecedented geographical and cultural dimension. He added: "The event is no longer limited to the 90 minutes on the field, but has extended to become a global platform for dialogue between nations, an opportunity to showcase the cultures of nations, and to embody the values of respect and coexistence."

He pointed out that the World Cup represents a rare opportunity for new generations to understand the true meaning of "the World Cup," not only through goals and championships but also through the accompanying fan interactions and human stories created by fans from different continents. He continued: "Each edition leaves an impact... a story of a player from the streets who reached global fame, or a tear from a fan who lived the dream after a long wait. These details are what make the World Cup an unforgettable event."

Al-Nashari concluded his remarks by affirming that the 2026 edition will be different in every respect, whether in terms of organization, participation, or fan attendance, stressing that the world will experience "a whole month of football joy that transcends borders and languages," and that the stadiums will be a stage for writing a new chapter in the history of football.
