أعرب رئيس الوزراء اللبناني الدكتور نواف سلام عن شكره لولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، على قراره رفع الحظر عن الصادرات اللبنانية.

وكتب سلام على حسابه في منصة «إكس»: «باسم الدولة اللبنانية وباسمي الشخصي، أتقدم بأسمى آيات الشكر والتقدير إلى ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود على القرار الكريم برفع الحظر عن الصادرات اللبنانية، والذي يعكس عمق العلاقات الأخوية والتاريخية التي تجمع بلدينا الشقيقين».

وأضاف: «يجسد هذا القرار ثقة المملكة بلبنان والحرص المشترك على تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري بما يخدم مصالح الشعبين، كما يشكل خطوة مهمة من شأنها دعم الاقتصاد اللبناني وفتح آفاق جديدة أمام المنتجين والمصدرين اللبنانيين، بما يسهم في تعزيز فرص النمو والاستقرار في لبنان».

وأعلن تطلع بلاده إلى مواصلة التنسيق مع المملكة، قائلاً: «تتطلع الدولة اللبنانية إلى مواصلة العمل والتنسيق مع المملكة العربية السعودية لترسيخ أواصر التعاون والشراكة في مختلف المجالات، بما يحقق الخير والازدهار للبلدين الشقيقين».

كما أعرب رئيس الوزراء اللبناني عن شكره لوزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان على متابعته الحثيثة لهذا الملف من أجل إيصاله إلى خواتيمه السعيدة.

وكان وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله قد أجرى اتصالاً هاتفياً اليوم برئيس الوزراء اللبناني الدكتور نواف سلام، نقل خلاله توجيه ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان باستئناف الصادرات اللبنانية إلى المملكة، بناءً على طلب الرئيس اللبناني جوزيف عون، ووفقاً للخطوات الإيجابية التي قامت بها الحكومة اللبنانية في طريق إعادة بناء مؤسسات الدولة، وما أنجزته الفرق المختصة طوال العام الماضي، وما أبداه الجانب اللبناني من تعاون معها وتقديمه التعهدات المطلوبة.

وأكد وزير الخارجية خلال الاتصال دعم المملكة لاستقرار لبنان وسيادته على كامل أراضيه ورفاهية شعبه الشقيق، وثقتها باتخاذ الأشقاء في لبنان جميع التدابير اللازمة لضمان عدم استخدام لبنان منصة للإضرار بأشقائه

The Lebanese Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam expressed his gratitude to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for his decision to lift the ban on Lebanese exports.

Salam wrote on his account on the platform "X": "On behalf of the Lebanese state and in my personal capacity, I extend my highest expressions of thanks and appreciation to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for the generous decision to lift the ban on Lebanese exports, which reflects the depth of the fraternal and historical relations that unite our two brotherly countries."

He added: "This decision embodies the Kingdom's trust in Lebanon and the mutual commitment to enhance economic and commercial cooperation that serves the interests of both peoples. It also represents an important step that will support the Lebanese economy and open new horizons for Lebanese producers and exporters, contributing to enhancing growth and stability opportunities in Lebanon."

He announced his country's aspiration to continue coordination with the Kingdom, saying: "The Lebanese state looks forward to continuing to work and coordinate with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to strengthen the bonds of cooperation and partnership in various fields, achieving goodness and prosperity for the two brotherly countries."

The Lebanese Prime Minister also expressed his gratitude to Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan for his diligent follow-up on this file to bring it to a happy conclusion.

Today, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah made a phone call to Lebanese Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam, during which he conveyed the directive of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to resume Lebanese exports to the Kingdom, based on the request of Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, and in accordance with the positive steps taken by the Lebanese government in the process of rebuilding state institutions, and what the specialized teams accomplished throughout the past year, as well as the cooperation shown by the Lebanese side and its provision of the required commitments.

The Foreign Minister confirmed during the call the Kingdom's support for the stability of Lebanon and its sovereignty over all its territories and the welfare of its brotherly people, and its trust that the brothers in Lebanon will take all necessary measures to ensure that Lebanon is not used as a platform to harm its brothers.
