كشف مسؤولون روس وأوكرانيون، اليوم (الأحد)، عن اتصال هاتفي أجراه الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب مع الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين والرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، حثّ خلاله الطرفين على ضرورة إنهاء الحرب وحلّ الخلافات العالقة.

وأكد مساعد الرئيس الروسي يوري أوشاكوف أن الرئيس فلاديمير بوتين أجرى اتصالاً هاتفياً مع نظيره الأمريكي دونالد ترمب استمر 55 دقيقة، ناقشا خلاله نقاطاً رئيسية في العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، مبيناً أن بوتين أعرب خلال المحادثة عن ارتياحه لاحتواء الصراع الإيراني–الأمريكي.

وأوضح أن ترمب أكد لبوتين أن اتفاقاً أمريكياً–إيرانياً بات وشيكاً، وأن نتائج المحادثات الشاقة قد تُعلن اليوم، مبيناً أن ترمب أقر خلال المحادثة، التي وصفها الجانب الروسي بأنها كانت ودية وصريحة، بأن الطريق إلى الاتفاق مع إيران كان صعباً لكنه انتهى إلى نتيجة مقبولة، وفقاً لوكالة «سبوتنيك» الروسية.

وفي ما يتعلق بالحرب الروسية–الأوكرانية، قال أوشاكوف إن ترمب أكد استعداده للضغط على الأوروبيين وكييف في ما يخص التسوية الأوكرانية، مبيناً أنه جرى التأكيد خلال المحادثة على أن الغارات الجوية الأوكرانية الأخيرة على أهداف مدنية في روسيا تعرقل التوصل إلى تسوية، وأضاف: «إذا أراد الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي لقاء بوتين، فليأتِ إلى موسكو».

وأشار إلى أن بوتين أبلغ ترمب بأن أي محاولات من جانب كييف لاستهداف البنية التحتية المدنية في روسيا لن تغيّر الوضع في ساحة المعركة، مبيناً أن المبعوثين الأمريكيين ستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر سيتوجهان إلى موسكو قريباً.

وفي سياق متصل، قال الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي إنه أجرى اتصالاً هاتفياً مع ترمب، ناقشا خلاله سبل تحقيق السلام.

وكتب زيلينسكي على منصة «إكس»: «أجريت للتو محادثة رائعة مع الرئيس ترمب، هنأته بعيد ميلاده، وتحدثنا بشكل مفصل عن العديد من الأمور الأساسية، وكان السلام بلا شك من بينها»، مبيناً أنه تمنى له كل النجاح في جهوده لوقف الحرب الروسية ضد أوكرانيا، كما شكره على الدعم الذي تقدمه الولايات المتحدة لأوكرانيا.

وأضاف: «من المهم أن نتذكر بامتنان كل خطوة من ذلك الدعم، من صواريخ جافلين إلى بطاريات باتريوت».

ولفت إلى أنه ناقش مع ترمب مستجدات الميدان وسبل تعزيز المواقف، مضيفاً: «اتفقنا على مواصلة النقاش خلال لقائنا في قمة مجموعة السبع، ولدينا أفكار جيدة قد تساعد في تعزيز السلام وحماية الأرواح».

Russian and Ukrainian officials revealed today (Sunday) that U.S. President Donald Trump had a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during which he urged both parties to end the war and resolve outstanding disputes.

Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov confirmed that President Vladimir Putin had a 55-minute phone call with his American counterpart Donald Trump, during which they discussed key points in bilateral relations between the two countries, noting that Putin expressed his satisfaction with the containment of the Iranian-American conflict.

He explained that Trump assured Putin that a U.S.-Iranian agreement was imminent, and that the results of the tough negotiations could be announced today, indicating that Trump acknowledged during the conversation, which the Russian side described as friendly and frank, that the path to an agreement with Iran was difficult but had ended in an acceptable outcome, according to the Russian news agency "Sputnik."

Regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war, Ushakov stated that Trump confirmed his readiness to pressure the Europeans and Kyiv regarding the Ukrainian settlement, noting that it was emphasized during the conversation that the recent Ukrainian airstrikes on civilian targets in Russia hinder reaching a settlement. He added, "If Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants to meet with Putin, he should come to Moscow."

He pointed out that Putin informed Trump that any attempts by Kyiv to target civilian infrastructure in Russia would not change the situation on the battlefield, indicating that American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner would be heading to Moscow soon.

In a related context, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he had a phone call with Trump, during which they discussed ways to achieve peace.

Zelensky wrote on the "X" platform: "I just had a great conversation with President Trump, I congratulated him on his birthday, and we talked in detail about many key issues, with peace undoubtedly among them," noting that he wished him all the success in his efforts to stop the Russian war against Ukraine, and thanked him for the support the United States provides to Ukraine.

He added: "It is important to remember with gratitude every step of that support, from Javelin missiles to Patriot batteries."

He highlighted that he discussed with Trump the latest developments in the field and ways to strengthen positions, adding: "We agreed to continue the discussion during our meeting at the G7 summit, and we have good ideas that may help enhance peace and protect lives."
