وفي سياق كواليس المشهد الدبلوماسي المعقد، كشف نائب الرئيس الأمريكي أن واشنطن كانت تتوجس من رد فعل إيراني واسع النطاق ضد إسرائيل في أعقاب غارة بيروت، إلا أن طهران بعثت برسائل تطمينية عبر قنوات تواصل بديلة تؤكد التزامها بمسار التهدئة وتوقيع الاتفاق، رغم وجود أطراف إقليمية، وفي مقدمتها «حزب الله»، تسعى لعرقلة هذا المسار. وشدد فانس على أن بلوغ السلام الشامل لن يتحقق بصورة مثالية بين ليلة وضحاها، لكن الخطوة الحالية تظل قفزة تاريخية غير مسبوقة.
وفي تزامن مع هذا الزخم، أعلن الرئيس دونالد ترمب رسمياً عبر منصته «تروث سوشال» اكتمال الاتفاق النهائي مع الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية، مؤكداً إصداره تفويضاً كاملاً لفتح مضيق هرمز أمام حركة الملاحة الدولية دون أي رسوم، بالتوازي مع الرفع الفوري للقيود البحرية الأمريكية، داعياً ناقلات النفط والسفن العالمية لاستئناف نشاطها وضمان تدفق الطاقة الأسواق العالمية.
U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance confirmed that the agreement reached with Tehran represents a significant historical turning point for the United States, praising President Donald Trump's leadership vision that succeeded in reshaping the balances of the Middle East and shifting them from decades of conflict and chaos to a path of regional cooperation.
Vance explained in an interview with Fox News that the terms of the agreement stipulate the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the end of the U.S. maritime blockade concurrently with its implementation, in exchange for a complete and absolute ban preventing Tehran from possessing or seeking to acquire nuclear weapons. He expressed hope that this step would establish a new era of stability extending for the next five decades and transform the region into a driver of economic prosperity.
In the context of the complex diplomatic scene, the U.S. Vice President revealed that Washington was apprehensive about a widespread Iranian reaction against Israel following the Beirut raid.
