أعلن مكتب رئيس الوزراء العراقي اليوم (السبت)، أن محادثات تجري مع الولايات المتحدة لإعفاء بعض المطارات العراقية من القيود المفروضة على شركات الطيران الإيرانية في إشارة إلى مطار النجف. وقال مكتب رئيس الوزراء العراقي: إن «تخفيف القيود على شركات الطيران الإيرانية سيسمح لنا باستئناف الرحلات لتلبية الحاجات الإنسانية».

من جانبه، أكد سفير إيران لدى العراق محمد كاظم آل صادق، أنه «من المحتمل الإعلان قريباً عن قرار جديد بشأن الرحلات الجوية الإيرانية إلى العراق».

بدوره، نقلت وكالة الأنباء العراقية «واع»، اليوم، عن السفير العراقي في إيران ياسر الحجاج قوله إن الحكومة العراقية تجري اتصالات مكثفة من أجل إعادة حركة الطيران بين البلدين إلى طبيعتها. وأشار إلى أن توقف الرحلات الجوية بين العراق وإيران هو «ظرف عابر ومؤقت»، ولا علاقة له بالعلاقات «التاريخية والروابط الراسخة» التي تربط بين البلدين، مشدداً على أن حكومة بغداد مستمرة في بذل الجهود من أجل تجاوز هذا الظرف والعمل على عودة حركة الطيران في أقرب وقت ممكن.

ولفت إلى أن العراق مستمر في الاتصالات والتنسيق مع الجهات المعنية في الجانب الإيراني.

بعدما تكثفت عليها الضغوط من حصار مالي واقتصادي، وفرض حظر على الطائرات الإيرانية في دول الجوار الإيراني؛ خاب آخر مساعي إيران لوقف الحرب ورفع الحصار المفروض عليها، خصوصاً بعد رفض الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب خطة فتح مضيق هرمز خلال 7 أيام، والتي أعلن عنها وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي الذي قال إن بلاده قدمت إلى الولايات المتحدة، المقترح عبر الوسيط القطري. وذكرت صحيفة «وول ستريت جورنال» أمس (السبت) أن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب رفض العرض الإيراني، مشككاً في مدى التزام إيران بشروطه. وقالت الصحيفة إنه أبلغ أعوانه بأنه يرى أن حملات القصف على إيران ستتجدد بعد انتهاء انتخابات التجديد النصفي لأعضاء الكونغرس في نوفمبر القادم.

The office of the Iraqi Prime Minister announced today (Saturday) that talks are underway with the United States to exempt some Iraqi airports from the restrictions imposed on Iranian airlines, referring to Najaf Airport. In turn, the Iraqi News Agency "INA" reported today that the Iraqi ambassador to Iran, Yasser Al-Hajaj, stated that the Iraqi government is conducting intensive communications to restore air traffic between the two countries to normal. He pointed out that the halt in flights between Iraq and Iran is a "transitory and temporary circumstance," and is not related to the "historical relations and established ties" that bind the two countries, emphasizing that the Baghdad government continues to make efforts to overcome this situation and work towards the resumption of air traffic as soon as possible.

He noted that Iraq continues to communicate and coordinate with the relevant parties on the Iranian side.

After facing intensified pressures from financial and economic sanctions, and the imposition of a ban on Iranian aircraft in neighboring countries; Iran's last efforts to stop the war and lift the imposed siege on it were thwarted, especially after U.S. President Donald Trump rejected the plan to open the Strait of Hormuz within 7 days, which was announced by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who stated that his country had presented the proposal to the United States through the Qatari mediator. The Wall Street Journal reported yesterday (Saturday) that President Donald Trump rejected the Iranian offer, questioning Iran's commitment to its terms. The newspaper stated that he informed his aides that he believes bombing campaigns against Iran will resume after the midterm elections for Congress next November.
