برعاية أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة الأمير سلمان بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، تنطلق غدًا أعمال المؤتمر الدولي «جهود المملكة في مواجهة الانحرافات الفكرية»، الذي تنظمه الجامعة الإسلامية بالمدينة المنورة، بمشاركة نخبة من المشايخ والمسؤولين والباحثين والمتخصصين من داخل المملكة وخارجها، وذلك خلال يومي 16 و17 ربيع الآخر 1448، الموافق 27 و28 سبتمبر 2026.

وثمّن رئيس الجامعة الإسلامية الدكتور صالح بن علي العقلا الرعاية الكريمة للمؤتمر، مشيدًا بما توليه المملكة بقيادة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، وولي عهده من عناية بالوعي الفكري، ودعم للمبادرات والبرامج التي تسهم في حماية المجتمع، وترسيخ قيم الوسطية والاعتدال، ومواجهة الانحرافات الفكرية، مقدمًا شكره لأمير منطقة المدينة المنورة على رعايته للمؤتمر، مؤكدًا أن هذه الرعاية تجسد اهتمامه بالمبادرات العلمية والفكرية الهادفة.

ونوّه الدكتور العقلا بالدعم الذي يحظى به قطاع التعليم من وزير التعليم يوسف بن عبدالله البنيان، وما تبذله الوزارة من جهود في تعزيز دور المؤسسات التعليمية والجامعات في بناء الوعي، وتنمية المعرفة، وترسيخ القيم الإسلامية والوطنية والفكرية.

من جانبه، أوضح رئيس اللجنة المنظمة للمؤتمر الدكتور ماهر خوجة أن المؤتمر يسعى إلى تقديم مخرجات علمية ومعرفية تسهم في تعزيز الوعي الفكري، وتطوير أطر التعاون والتكامل بين المؤسسات، وتبادل التجارب والخبرات الدولية، وصياغة رؤى وتوصيات عملية لمواجهة التحديات والانحرافات الفكرية المعاصرة.

وبيّن أن المؤتمر يمثل منصة علمية دولية لإبراز جهود المملكة ومبادراتها في مواجهة الانحرافات الفكرية، وتعزيز تبادل الخبرات بين العلماء والباحثين والمتخصصين، ودعم التكامل بين المؤسسات التعليمية والأمنية والإعلامية والمجتمعية في هذا المجال.

ويشهد المؤتمر تقديم (56) بحثًا علميًا محكّمًا، و(9) جلسات حوارية، و(10) معارض مصاحبة، تتناول عددًا من القضايا المرتبطة بأسباب الانحرافات الفكرية وآثارها وسبل مواجهتها، والمبادرات الوطنية في مكافحة التطرف، ودور العقيدة الصحيحة والصحة النفسية والمؤسسات المجتمعية في الوقاية الفكرية، إلى جانب توظيف التقنيات الحديثة والذكاء الاصطناعي وشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تعزيز الوعي ومواجهة التحديات الفكرية المعاصرة.

ويهدف المؤتمر إلى إثراء النقاش العلمي وتبادل الخبرات، والخروج بتوصيات تعزز الجهود الوطنية والدولية في بناء مجتمعات أكثر وعيًا وقدرة على مواجهة الانحرافات الفكرية.

Under the patronage of the Prince of the Medina Region, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the international conference "The Kingdom's Efforts in Confronting Intellectual Deviations" will commence tomorrow, organized by the Islamic University in Medina, with the participation of a select group of scholars, officials, researchers, and specialists from within and outside the Kingdom, taking place on the 16th and 17th of Rabi' al-Thani 1448, corresponding to September 27 and 28, 2026.

The President of the Islamic University, Dr. Saleh bin Ali Al-Aqla, appreciated the generous sponsorship of the conference, praising the attention the Kingdom, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, gives to intellectual awareness, and the support for initiatives and programs that contribute to protecting society, establishing the values of moderation and balance, and confronting intellectual deviations. He expressed his gratitude to the Prince of the Medina Region for his sponsorship of the conference, emphasizing that this sponsorship reflects his interest in purposeful scientific and intellectual initiatives.

Dr. Al-Aqla highlighted the support that the education sector receives from the Minister of Education, Yusuf bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, and the efforts made by the ministry to enhance the role of educational institutions and universities in building awareness, developing knowledge, and establishing Islamic, national, and intellectual values.

For his part, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the conference, Dr. Maher Khawja, explained that the conference aims to provide scientific and knowledge outputs that contribute to enhancing intellectual awareness, developing frameworks for cooperation and integration among institutions, exchanging international experiences and expertise, and formulating practical visions and recommendations to confront contemporary challenges and intellectual deviations.

He indicated that the conference represents an international scientific platform to highlight the Kingdom's efforts and initiatives in confronting intellectual deviations, enhancing the exchange of experiences among scholars, researchers, and specialists, and supporting the integration of educational, security, media, and community institutions in this field.

The conference will feature the presentation of (56) peer-reviewed scientific papers, (9) panel discussions, and (10) accompanying exhibitions, addressing various issues related to the causes of intellectual deviations, their effects, and ways to confront them, national initiatives in combating extremism, and the role of sound belief, mental health, and community institutions in intellectual prevention, in addition to employing modern technologies, artificial intelligence, and social media networks to enhance awareness and confront contemporary intellectual challenges.

The conference aims to enrich scientific discussion and exchange experiences, and to produce recommendations that enhance national and international efforts in building more aware communities capable of confronting intellectual deviations.
