The sports critic Saleh Abu Nakha revealed the keys to the Saudi national team's victory over their Qatari counterpart in the semi-final of Gulf Cup 27, in the match that will take place tomorrow at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.

He said to "Okaz": "The Green team must maintain tactical discipline and not give the Qatari players space, especially during the quick transitions they excel at."

He added: "The Green team should start with organized pressure that prevents the Qatari attack from building comfortably and forces them into mistakes in their areas, while utilizing the speed of the wings and varying attacks between penetrations, crosses, and through balls behind the defenders."

He continued: "In big matches, opportunities do not repeat, so it is essential to shoot early when space is available and to exploit crosses by increasing the number of players inside the box."

Abu Nakha warned against Qatari counterattacks, emphasizing the need for the full-backs not to push forward together and to ensure continuous defensive coverage.

Regarding the audience, he said: "The presence of fans tomorrow in Jeddah is very important; it will give the players a positive boost, and the most important thing is to continue cheering even if the scoring is delayed or if the Green team faces pressure, as a full stadium sends a direct message of support."
