في واقعة مأساوية تجردت فيها الروابط الأسرية من معانيها وتحولت أدوات المطبخ المنزلية إلى أدوات للجريمة، شهدت مدينة إربد الأردنية دراما دموية مروعة، بعدما فتح شاب أبواب جهنم على عائلته مستعيناً بسكين و«مخرطة ملوخية»، ليحول هدوء المنزل إلى صراخ ودماء.

وبدأت خيوط الواقعة عندما نشب خلاف مفاجئ داخل البيت إثر رفض الأم الصارم لمنح ابنها مفتاح المركبة أو السماح له باستخدامها، ليتملك الغضب العارم ابنها الشاب ويقوده مباشرة إلى المطبخ، حيث انتزع السكين والمخرطة واقتحم المجلس مهدداً والدته بالقتل وسط ذهول الجميع.

ولم يقف الذهول عند حد التهديد، إذ سرعان ما اندلعت مشاجرة عنيفة حاول فيها الشقيق التدخل لحماية أمه، ليتلقى سلسلة من الضربات الغادرة التي مزقت جسده، وتسببت له في خمس جروح قطعية عميقة تركزت في الوجه والرأس، إلى جانب إصابات بالغة في اليد والساعد والرسغ، حيث أكد التقرير الطبي أن إحدى تلك الجروح نجمت عن سحب وجر أداة حادة على البشرة.

وأمام هذه البشاعة، أصدرت هيئة المحكمة حكماً يقضي بتجريم الشاب بجناية الإيذاء بأداة حادة، بالإضافة إلى جرائم التهديد، وإلحاق الضرر بمال الغير، وسب الذات الإلهية، معاقبةً إياه بالأشغال المؤقتة لمدة ثلاث سنوات، قبل أن يتم تخفيض العقوبة إلى الحبس لمدة سنة واحدة نافذة عقب التنازل وإسقاط الحق الشخصي من العائلة.

In a tragic incident where family ties lost their meaning and household kitchen tools turned into instruments of crime, the Jordanian city of Irbid witnessed a horrifying bloody drama, after a young man opened the gates of hell on his family using a knife and a "molokhia grinder," turning the calm of the home into screams and blood.

The threads of the incident began when a sudden dispute erupted inside the house following the mother's firm refusal to give her son the vehicle key or allow him to use it. This overwhelming anger drove her young son directly to the kitchen, where he seized the knife and the grinder and stormed into the living room, threatening his mother with death amidst everyone's shock.

The shock did not stop at the threat, as a violent brawl soon broke out in which the brother tried to intervene to protect his mother, only to receive a series of treacherous blows that tore his body apart, causing him five deep lacerations concentrated on his face and head, in addition to severe injuries to his hand, forearm, and wrist. The medical report confirmed that one of those wounds resulted from dragging and scraping a sharp object against the skin.

In light of this brutality, the court issued a ruling convicting the young man of aggravated assault with a sharp instrument, in addition to charges of threats, causing damage to another's property, and blasphemy, sentencing him to three years of hard labor, before the sentence was reduced to one year of actual imprisonment following the family's waiver and dropping of personal rights.
