أعرب الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم محمد البديوي، عن بالغ استنكاره وإدانته القاطعة للهجوم الإرهابي الذي أقدمت عليه ميليشيات الحوثي باستهداف مطار الملك خالد الدولي بمدينة الرياض في المملكة العربية السعودية مما أسفر عن وقوع عدد من الوفيات.

وأكد أن تعمد ميليشيا الحوثي استهداف المطارات المدنية والمدنيين تستدعي تحركًا دوليًا جادًا وإجراءات حاسمة تكفل ردعها، ومنع تكرار مثل هذه الاعتداءات التي تتنافى مع أبسط المبادئ الإنسانية والمواثيق الدولية.

وجدد التأكيد على أن أمن المملكة العربية السعودية جزءٌ لا يتجزأ من أمن دول مجلس التعاون، مؤكدًا مساندة المجلس المطلقة للمملكة في كل ما تتخذه من خطوات لصون أمنها وحماية مقدراتها وسلامة أراضيها.

وأعرب معالي الأمين العام عن خالص تعازيه وصادق مواساته لأسر وذوي المتوفين جراء هذا الاعتداء الإرهابي، سائلًا المولى عز وجل أن يتغمدهم بواسع رحمته ويسكنهم فسيح جناته، وأن يلهم أهلهم وذويهم الصبر والسلوان، متمنيًا للمصابين الشفاء العاجل.

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, expressed his deep condemnation and strong denunciation of the terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militias targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which resulted in several fatalities.

He emphasized that the deliberate targeting of civilian airports and civilians by the Houthi militia necessitates serious international action and decisive measures to deter them and prevent the recurrence of such assaults that contradict the most basic humanitarian principles and international charters.

He reiterated that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, affirming the Council's absolute support for the Kingdom in all measures it takes to safeguard its security, protect its resources, and ensure the safety of its territory.

The Secretary-General expressed his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the families and relatives of the deceased as a result of this terrorist attack, asking Almighty God to envelop them in His vast mercy and grant them a place in His spacious gardens, and to inspire their families and loved ones with patience and solace, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
