حثت وزارة الخارجية الصينية اليابان على الاستجابة لدعوات الدول الإقليمية والكف عن أي محاولة «لإعادة التسلح».

جاء ذلك في تصريحات صحفية أدلى بها المتحدث باسم الوزارة غو جياكون رداً على تقارير تفيد بأن وزارة الخارجية الروسية حذرت اليابان بشأن نشر الولايات المتحدة نظام صواريخ «تايفون» متوسطة المدى في كيوشو.

وقال المتحدث إن «نظام صواريخ تايفون متوسطة المدى هو سلاح هجومي استراتيجي، وإدخال اليابان هذا النظام هو دليل آخر على تعجيلها إعادة التسلح»، مضيفاً أن تلك الخطوة تزيد مخاطر المواجهة العسكرية وسباق التسلح، وتهدد التوازن الاستراتيجي والاستقرار الإقليمي، وتقوض المصالح الأمنية المشروعة لدول الجوار.

ولفت إلى أن المجتمع الدولي يقظ تماماً بعد تلك الخطوة، وأن عدة دول آسيوية أعربت عن معارضتها لها، منوهاً إلى أن الصين قدمت احتجاجاً قوياً أكثر من مرة إلى اليابان من خلال القنوات الدبلوماسية، وأرسلت أخيراً مذكرة دبلوماسية إلى الجانب الياباني للتأكيد على موقفها الرسمي.

وكانت المتحدثة باسم وزارة الخارجية الروسية ماريا زاخاروفا قد أعلنت أخيراً أن موسكو طالبت اليابان بسحب منظومات «تايفون» الصاروخية الأمريكية، المصممة لإطلاق صواريخ متوسطة وقصيرة المدى، من أراضيها.

وقالت زاخاروفا إنه تم إرسال مذكرة احتجاج إلى الجانب الياباني بهذا الشأن.

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged Japan to respond to the calls of regional countries and to cease any attempts at "rearmament."

This came in press statements made by the ministry's spokesperson, Zhao Lijian, in response to reports indicating that the Russian Foreign Ministry warned Japan about the deployment of the U.S. "Typhoon" medium-range missile system in Kyushu.

The spokesperson stated that "the Typhoon medium-range missile system is a strategic offensive weapon, and Japan's introduction of this system is further evidence of its acceleration of rearmament," adding that this step increases the risks of military confrontation and an arms race, threatens the strategic balance and regional stability, and undermines the legitimate security interests of neighboring countries.

He pointed out that the international community is fully alert to this step, and several Asian countries have expressed their opposition to it, noting that China has lodged strong protests with Japan multiple times through diplomatic channels, and recently sent a diplomatic note to the Japanese side to reaffirm its official position.

Recently, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova announced that Moscow has demanded Japan withdraw the U.S. "Typhoon" missile systems, designed to launch medium and short-range missiles, from its territory.

Zakharova stated that a note of protest has been sent to the Japanese side regarding this matter.
