عقدت لجنة المسابقات في الاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم اجتماعها الثاني في مدينة جدة، برئاسة الدكتور خالد بن عبدالعزيز بن مقرن، لمناقشة عدد من الموضوعات المتعلقة بمنافسات اليوم الافتتاحي لبطولة «خليجي الديار العربية 27»، التي تستضيفها المملكة العربية السعودية خلال الفترة من 23 سبتمبر إلى 6 أكتوبر 2026، بمشاركة ثمانية منتخبات تتنافس في 15 مباراة.

وشارك في الاجتماع محمد هزام الظاهري، إلى جانب أعضاء اللجنة راشد الزعبي، وقتيبة الغيلاني، ومحمد فرحان عبيد، وأحمد محمد الحرمي، وأيمن الحسيني، وحسام السنباني، إضافة إلى مدير إدارة المسابقات في الاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم حمد المناعي، ومقرر اللجنة محمد الخميسي. وتتوافق هذه الأسماء مع التشكيل المعتمد للجنة المسابقات في الاتحاد.

وناقشت اللجنة التقارير المقدمة من مراقبي مباراتي اليوم الافتتاحي، والتي جمعت الأولى بين منتخبي العراق وعُمان، والثانية بين منتخبي السعودية والكويت، إلى جانب عدد من الجوانب التنظيمية المرتبطة بسير المنافسات.

كما استعرضت اللجنة الترتيبات الخاصة بجداول تدريبات المنتخبات المشاركة ومواعيد استخدام ملاعب التدريب المعتمدة، بما يضمن تنظيم البرامج الفنية للمنتخبات وفق الجداول المحددة للبطولة. وتشير الخطة التشغيلية للبطولة إلى إقامة تدريبات المنتخبات في مواقع التدريب المختلفة بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية وفق الجداول والملاعب المخصصة لكل منتخب.

وكانت لجنة المسابقات قد اعتمدت تعيينات مراقبي المباريات منذ انطلاق البطولة وحتى الدور نصف النهائي، في إطار مسؤولياتها المتعلقة بمتابعة سير المنافسات وضمان تطبيق اللوائح والإجراءات التنظيمية المعتمدة.

كما أقرت اللجنة آلية للمتابعة اليومية طوال فترة البطولة، من خلال عقد اجتماعات صباحية لمراجعة تقارير المباريات، ومناقشة الملاحظات التنظيمية والتشغيلية المرتبطة بالمنافسات، واتخاذ ما يلزم بشأنها وفق اللوائح المعتمدة.

من جانبه، أكد رئيس لجنة المسابقات في الاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم الدكتور خالد بن عبدالعزيز بن مقرن أن الاجتماع استعرض تقارير مراقبي مباراتي اليوم الافتتاحي، مشيراً إلى أن المباراتين خرجتا بصورة تنظيمية مميزة من مختلف الجوانب.

وأشاد بالجهود التنظيمية المبذولة من جانب المملكة العربية السعودية واللجنة المحلية المنظمة، وكذلك بالأجواء المميزة التي صاحبت انطلاق البطولة وحفل الافتتاح، الذي تزامن مع اليوم الوطني السعودي.

وقال: «ناقشنا خلال الاجتماع عدداً من الموضوعات المتعلقة بترتيبات المباريات، وتقارير المراقبين، وجداول تدريبات المنتخبات، إلى جانب آلية المتابعة اليومية للمنافسات، بما يضمن انتظام العمل والتعامل مع أي ملاحظات أولاً بأول».

وثمّن رئيس لجنة المسابقات مستوى التنسيق والتعاون المستمر بين اللجنة ومختلف الجهات والفرق المعنية طوال فترة البطولة، مؤكداً الحرص على مواصلة العمل بما يضمن انتظام المنافسات وتطبيق اللوائح والإجراءات التنظيمية بدقة، وبما يسهم في تقديم البطولة بالصورة التي تليق بمكانة كأس الخليج.

The Competitions Committee of the Gulf Football Federation held its second meeting in Jeddah, chaired by Dr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz bin Muqrin, to discuss several topics related to the opening day competitions of the "Gulf Arab Homes 27" Championship, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from September 23 to October 6, 2026, with the participation of eight teams competing in 15 matches.

Mohammed Hizam Al-Dhaheri participated in the meeting, along with committee members Rashid Al-Zaabi, Qutaiba Al-Ghailani, Mohammed Farhan Obaid, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Harami, Ayman Al-Husseini, and Hussam Al-Sanbani, in addition to the Director of the Competitions Department of the Gulf Football Federation, Hamad Al-Manaei, and the committee's rapporteur, Mohammed Al-Khamisi. These names align with the approved composition of the Competitions Committee in the federation.

The committee discussed the reports submitted by the observers of the opening day matches, which featured the first match between Iraq and Oman, and the second match between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, along with several organizational aspects related to the conduct of the competitions.

The committee also reviewed the arrangements for the training schedules of the participating teams and the timings for using the approved training fields, ensuring the organization of the teams' technical programs according to the specified schedules for the championship. The operational plan for the championship indicates that team training will take place at various training sites in King Abdullah Sports City according to the allocated schedules and fields for each team.

The Competitions Committee had approved the appointments of match observers from the start of the championship until the semi-finals, as part of its responsibilities related to monitoring the progress of the competitions and ensuring the application of the approved regulations and organizational procedures.

The committee also established a mechanism for daily follow-up throughout the championship period by holding morning meetings to review match reports, discuss organizational and operational observations related to the competitions, and take necessary actions in accordance with the approved regulations.

For his part, the Chairman of the Competitions Committee of the Gulf Football Federation, Dr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz bin Muqrin, confirmed that the meeting reviewed the reports of the observers of the opening day matches, noting that the two matches were organized excellently from various aspects.

He praised the organizational efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the local organizing committee, as well as the exceptional atmosphere that accompanied the launch of the championship and the opening ceremony, which coincided with Saudi National Day.

He said: "During the meeting, we discussed several topics related to match arrangements, observers' reports, training schedules for the teams, as well as the mechanism for daily follow-up on the competitions, ensuring the smooth operation and addressing any observations promptly."

The Chairman of the Competitions Committee valued the level of coordination and ongoing cooperation between the committee and various concerned parties and teams throughout the championship period, emphasizing the commitment to continue working to ensure the regularity of the competitions and the precise application of regulations and organizational procedures, contributing to presenting the championship in a manner befitting the status of the Gulf Cup.
