مع اقتراب الأول من أكتوبر، تتجه الأنظار إلى أروقة قصر العدل في الكويت، بعدما اعتمدت الجمعية العمومية لمحكمة الاستئناف الكويتية خريطة القضاة المكلفين بمتابعة الملفات الأكثر حساسية في البلاد، وعلى رأسها محاكمة المسؤولين والوزراء.

القرار الصادر استناداً للتعديلات التشريعية في قانون محاكمة الوزراء، أقرّ قيادة المستشار هاني الحمدان للتشكيل الجديد للمحكمة، معززاً بفريق قضائي يضم أربعة مستشارين آخرين بصفة أصلية هم: عدنان الجاسر، ومحمد جعفر، وأحمد السدرة، وخليفة النجم. ولم يغفل القرار وضع صمام أمان لاستمرارية الجلسات عبر تسمية ستة مستشارين آخرين بصفة احتياطية لضمان سير القضايا دون إبطاء.

ولم تتوقف التعديلات عند المنصة القضائية لمكافحة الفساد، بل امتدت لتشمل لجان التحقيق المباشر مع الوزراء، حيث كُلف المستشار حامد العمار برئاسة فريق التحقيق الأصلي برفقة سعود الصانع والدكتور أحمد المقلد، مع الاستعانة بعضوين احتياطيين لضمان مرونة التحقيقات.

وعلى صعيد الانضباط المهني الداخلي، شمل الحراك القضائي الكويتي ندب مستشارين بارزين لعضوية مجلس تأديب القضاة برئاسة المستشار عبدالهادي النويف ولؤي النصف، إلى جانب ترتيب بيت المحاماة عبر إسناد المجلس الاستئنافي لتأديب المحامين لنخبة من المستشارين، في خطوة تنطلق رسمياً وتستمر لمدة عام كامل إلى جانب مهامهم القضائية الأصلية.

As October 1 approaches, all eyes are on the corridors of the Court of Justice in Kuwait, after the General Assembly of the Kuwaiti Court of Appeals approved the map of judges assigned to follow up on the most sensitive cases in the country, foremost among them the trial of officials and ministers.

The decision, issued based on legislative amendments to the law on the trial of ministers, confirmed the leadership of Counselor Hani Al-Hamdan for the new court formation, supported by a judicial team that includes four other counselors as core members: Adnan Al-Jasser, Mohammed Jafar, Ahmed Al-Sadra, and Khalifa Al-Najm. The decision also did not overlook the establishment of a safety valve for the continuity of sessions by appointing six other counselors as substitutes to ensure the smooth progress of cases without delay.

The amendments did not stop at the judicial platform for combating corruption but extended to include committees for direct investigations with ministers, where Counselor Hamid Al-Amar was tasked with leading the original investigation team alongside Saud Al-Sane and Dr. Ahmed Al-Muqled, with the assistance of two substitute members to ensure the flexibility of the investigations.

In terms of internal professional discipline, the Kuwaiti judicial movement included the assignment of prominent counselors to the membership of the Disciplinary Council for Judges, chaired by Counselor Abdulhadi Al-Nuwaif and Louay Al-Nasf, in addition to organizing the legal profession by assigning the appellate council for the discipline of lawyers to a select group of counselors, in a step that officially begins and continues for a full year alongside their original judicial duties.
