شهدت منطقة برادفيلد جنوب غربي سيدني حادثة مروعة صباح (السبت)، عندما ارتفع بيت مطاطي في الهواء نتيجة عاصفة مفاجئة، ما أدى إلى إصابة خمسة أطفال. وأفادت خدمات الطوارئ بأن أربعة من الأطفال نُقلوا إلى المستشفى لتلقي العلاج، في حين تسبب الحادث بصدمة كبيرة بين الأهالي الذين شاهدوا الموقف الخطير. الحادث يعكس قوة الطبيعة المفاجئة ويثير التساؤلات حول سلامة الألعاب في الهواء الطلق خلال الطقس المتقلب.

بيت مطاطي يحلّق في الهواء

وأفاد مسعفون لوسائل إعلام محلية بأن الهيكل المطاطي انفصل عن الأرض جراء هبّة رياح قوية، قبل أن يندفع فوق سياج أحد المنازل المجاورة، فيما ذكرت صحيفة «ذي ديلي تلغراف» أن الأطفال قُذفوا عدة أمتار قبل سقوطهم على الأرض.

وأوضحت خدمة الإسعاف أن المصابين، الذين تراوح أعمارهم بين 9 و13 عاماً، تعرضوا لإصابات في الأكتاف والظهر، ونُقل أربعة منهم إلى مستشفى الأطفال في ويستميد وهم في حالة مستقرة تحت المراقبة.

تحقيقات الحادث

أظهرت صور من موقع الحادث البيت المطاطي الأسود منكمشاً فوق بوابة، بينما كان أفراد الطوارئ يتفقدون المكان إلى جانب منفاخ الهواء الذي بدا وقد انقلب على جانبه.

وباشرت الشرطة تحقيقاً لتحديد ظروف وقوع الحادث، في وقت لم تُصدر خدمة الإسعاف أي تعليقات إضافية. من جانبها، ذكرت الشركة المصنّعة للبيت المطاطي لصحيفة «ذي ديلي تلغراف» أن أصحاب المنزل أبلغوها بأن «رياحاً هائلة» ناجمة عن «زوبعة مفاجئة» سبقت وقوع الحادث مباشرة.

يأتي هذا الحادث بعد واقعة مماثلة في 2022، حين لقي طفل حتفه وأصيب ثمانية آخرون بعدما حملت رياح قوية بيتاً مطاطياً في الهواء خلال مهرجان بمدينة ميسلاتا في إسبانيا، ما أدى إلى سقوط الطفل خارجه.

A Bouncy Castle Soars into the Air

Paramedics told local media that the inflatable structure detached from the ground due to a strong gust of wind before it was propelled over the fence of a neighboring house, while the Daily Telegraph reported that the children were thrown several meters before falling to the ground.

The ambulance service explained that the injured, aged between 9 and 13 years, suffered injuries to their shoulders and backs, and four of them were taken to the Children's Hospital at Westmead in stable condition under observation.

Investigation of the Incident

Images from the scene of the incident showed the black bouncy castle collapsed over a gate, while emergency personnel inspected the area alongside the air blower, which appeared to have flipped onto its side.

The police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident, while the ambulance service has not issued any additional comments. For its part, the manufacturer of the bouncy castle told the Daily Telegraph that the homeowners informed them that "huge winds" caused by a "sudden whirlwind" preceded the incident directly.

This incident follows a similar occurrence in 2022, when a child was killed and eight others were injured after strong winds lifted a bouncy castle into the air during a festival in the town of Mislata, Spain, leading to the child falling out of it.
