أعلن وزير الرياضة الغابوني سيمبليس ديزير مامبولا 3 قرارات صارمة عقب وداع منتخب بلاده منافسات كأس الأمم الأفريقية 2025 المقامة في المغرب من دور المجموعات.
خسائر متتالية وأداء مخيب
وتكبد منتخب الغابون 3 هزائم متتالية في مشواره بالبطولة، إذ خسر أمام الكاميرون (1-0)، ثم سقط في مواجهة مثيرة أمام موزمبيق (3-2)، قبل أن يُهزم مجدداً بالنتيجة نفسها أمام ساحل العاج.
وشهدت الجولة الختامية غياب قائد المنتخب بيير إيمريك أوباميانغ بسبب الإصابة، ما زاد من معاناة الفريق.
3 قرارات نارية
وقال وزير الرياضة الغابوني في تصريحات صحفية: «بالنظر إلى الأداء المخزي للمنتخب في بطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية، وبالنظر إلى الآثار المتعددة التي تتعارض تماماً مع قيم الأخلاق والقدوة التي تدعو إليها الجمهورية، قررت الحكومة ما يلي: حل الجهاز الفني وتعليق نشاط المنتخب الوطني حتى إشعار آخر، إلى جانب استبعاد اللاعبين برونو إيكويل مانغا، وبيير إيمريك أوباميانغ من المنتخب».
وأضاف مامبولا: «علاوة على ذلك، تدعو الحكومة الاتحاد الغابوني لكرة القدم إلى تحمّل كامل مسؤولياته تجاه ما حدث».
أوباميانغ يرد
من جانبه، رد بيير إيمريك أوباميانغ قائلاً: «مشكلات المنتخب أعمق بكثير من مجرد مشكلاتي الشخصية».
The Gabonese Minister of Sports, Simplices Desire Mamboula, announced 3 strict decisions following the elimination of his national team from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations held in Morocco in the group stage.
Consecutive Losses and Disappointing Performance
The Gabonese team suffered 3 consecutive defeats in the tournament, losing to Cameroon (1-0), then falling in a thrilling match against Mozambique (3-2), before being defeated again by the same score against Ivory Coast.
The final round saw the absence of team captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang due to injury, which added to the team's struggles.
3 Fiery Decisions
The Gabonese Minister of Sports stated in press remarks: “In light of the disgraceful performance of the team in the Africa Cup of Nations, and considering the multiple repercussions that are completely contrary to the values of ethics and role models advocated by the republic, the government has decided the following: to dissolve the coaching staff and suspend the national team’s activities until further notice, as well as to exclude players Bruno Ecuele Manga and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from the team.”
Mamboula added: “Furthermore, the government calls on the Gabonese Football Federation to fully assume its responsibilities regarding what has occurred.”
Aubameyang Responds
For his part, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang responded by saying: “The problems of the team are much deeper than just my personal issues.”
