أعلنت السلطات الألمانية إخلاء المنطقة الأمنية في مطار هامبورغ، وإلغاء عدد كبير من الرحلات الجوية، إثر «وضع أمني» تتعامل معه الشرطة حالياً.

وأوقفت عمليات تسجيل المسافرين وإجراءات الفحص الأمني للطيران بشكل فوري ومفاجئ، في إجراء احترازي أدى إلى تعطيل حركة المطار الرئيسي في شمال ألمانيا.

ووصفت الشرطة الفيدرالية الألمانية العملية بأنها «إجراء شرطي»، دون تقديم أي تفاصيل إضافية حول طبيعة الوضع الأمني أو الأسباب الكامنة وراءه، مما أثار حالة من الارتباك بين المسافرين والعاملين في المطار.

ووجهت إدارة المطار نداءً للمسافرين بعدم التوجه إلى المطار في الوقت الحالي، وطالبت شركات الطيران بإلغاء أو تأجيل رحلاتها حتى إشعار آخر. وأدى الإجراء إلى إلغاء عشرات الرحلات، مع توجيه بعض الرحلات الواردة إلى مطارات أخرى قريبة.

وقال متحدث باسم الشرطة الاتحادية ماركوس هينشيل إن جميع الركاب اضطروا إلى مغادرة المنطقة الواقعة خلف نقاط التفتيش الأمنية، مضيفا أن الركاب الذين كانوا قد صعدوا بالفعل إلى الطائرات اضطروا أيضا إلى النزول منها مجددا.

كما أضاف هينشيل أن الوقت المتوقع لاستئناف عمليات تسجيل المسافرين واستئناف حركة المرور عبر المنطقة الأمنية لم يكن محددا بعد، وأن الأمور لا تزال غير واضحة.

ويُعد مطار هامبورغ أحد أقدم المطارات العاملة في ألمانيا والذي تأسس عام 1912، وهو الخامس من حيث حجم الحركة الجوية في البلاد، ويخدم ملايين المسافرين سنوياً، ويُشرف على إجراءاته الأمنية الشرطة الفيدرالية الألمانية.

وشهد مطار هامبورغ في السابق عدة حوادث أمنية، أبرزها حادث نوفمبر 2023، عندما اقتحم رجل مسلح البوابة بسيارته واحتجز طفلته، مما أدى إلى إغلاق كامل للمطار لنحو 18 ساعة وإلغاء أكثر من 100 رحلة.

وتأتي هذه الواقعة في سياق ارتفاع التحذيرات الأمنية في أوروبا عموماً، خاصة مع استمرار التوترات الجيوسياسية الدولية، والمخاوف من التهديدات الإرهابية أو الحوادث الفردية المسلحة، وتلتزم السلطات الألمانية بسياسة عدم الكشف عن التفاصيل أثناء سير العمليات الأمنية لأسباب تتعلق بالسلامة العامة.

The German authorities announced the evacuation of the security area at Hamburg Airport and the cancellation of a large number of flights due to a "security situation" that the police are currently dealing with.

Passenger check-in and security screening operations were immediately and unexpectedly halted as a precautionary measure, disrupting operations at the main airport in northern Germany.

The German federal police described the operation as a "police measure," without providing any additional details about the nature of the security situation or the underlying reasons, causing confusion among travelers and airport staff.

The airport management issued a call for travelers not to head to the airport at this time and requested airlines to cancel or delay their flights until further notice. This measure resulted in the cancellation of dozens of flights, with some incoming flights redirected to nearby airports.

A spokesperson for the federal police, Markus Hinchiel, stated that all passengers were required to leave the area behind the security checkpoints, adding that passengers who had already boarded the planes were also forced to disembark.

Hinchiel also mentioned that the expected time to resume passenger check-in and traffic through the security area had not yet been determined, and that the situation remains unclear.

Hamburg Airport is one of the oldest operating airports in Germany, established in 1912, and is the fifth largest in terms of air traffic in the country, serving millions of travelers annually, with security procedures overseen by the German federal police.

Hamburg Airport has previously experienced several security incidents, most notably in November 2023, when an armed man breached the gate with his car and took his daughter hostage, leading to a complete closure of the airport for about 18 hours and the cancellation of more than 100 flights.

This incident comes amid heightened security warnings across Europe, especially with ongoing international geopolitical tensions and concerns over terrorist threats or individual armed incidents. The German authorities adhere to a policy of not disclosing details during security operations for public safety reasons.
