تبدأ الحكاية من ملفات عقارية مسربة جرى تداولها عبر وسائل إعلام غربية ووحدة التحقيقات الأوكرانية «Schemes». الوثائق كشفت أن ألينا شكروبانيتس (والدة الزوجة السابقة للمدعي العام الأوكراني المقال روسلان كرافتشينكو) امتلكت فيلا فاخرة (تاون هاوس) في مجمع «داماك لاغونز» الشهير في دبي عام 2023، وهي الفترة التي كان يشغل فيها كرافتشينكو منصب رئيس الإدارة العسكرية الإقليمية لكييف.

لكن المثير في الأمر هو ردة الفعل المباشرة، حيث خرجت ألينا عن صمتها لنفي أي صلة لها بالعملية قائلة: «لم أشترِ أي شيء في الإمارات.. أتساءل إن كان هناك من استغل بياناتي الشخصية ضدّي».

ولا يتوقف الغموض عند هذا الحد، فزوجها إيغور شكروبانتس العضو في المجلس الإقليمي لتشرنيفتسي والمكلف قانوناً بالإفصاح عن الممتلكات العائلية، أسقط الفيلا تماماً من إقراراته الذمة المالية لعامي 2023 و2024.

وفي عام 2025، انتقلت ملكية العقار في دبي بشكل مفاجئ إلى رجل الأعمال أندريه كيباش، الذي يدير مطعم «La Veranda» الشهير في كييف. ورغم رفض كيباش الكشف للصحفيين عن هوية المشتري الأول أو التفاصيل المالية، إلا أن الأرشيف الرقمي كان له رأي آخر.

وكان مقطع فيديو يعود لعام 2022 نُشر على حساب المطعم في إنستغرام، قد أظهر المدعي العام السابق كرافتشينكو وهو يتناول العشاء في نفس المطعم برفقة زوجته السابقة ووالديها، مما يطرح علامات استفهام كبرى حول طبيعة العلاقات الشخصية والمالية المتداخلة بين أطراف هذه الصفقات.

على الرغم من أن عقار دبي لا يدخل مباشرة ضمن التحقيق الجنائي الحالي، إلا أنه جاء ليفجر الصفيح الساخن الذي يجلس عليه كرافتشينكو. ففي سبتمبر 2026، شن ضباط المكتب الوطني لمكافحة الفساد في أوكرانيا (NABU) مداهمة مدوية لمقر مكتب المدعي العام.

وتشير التحقيقات إلى وجود «منظمة إجرامية» قامت بغسل ملايين الدولارات من عائدات مراكز اتصالات احتيالية، حيث تم دفع رشاوى باهظة لمسؤولين داخل مكتب المدعي العام لتجنب التدقيق والملاحقة القانونية.

ومع اشتعال فتيل التحقيقات تقدم كرافتشينكو باستقالته، وأقر البرلمان الأوكراني (الفرخوفنا رادا) بأغلبية ساحقة إقالته رسمياً، ووقع الرئيس زيلينسكي مرسوم العزل.

The documents revealed that Alina Shkrobanets (the mother of the ex-wife of the dismissed Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko) owned a luxurious villa (townhouse) in the famous "Damac Lagoons" complex in Dubai in 2023, during the period when Kravchenko held the position of head of the Kyiv regional military administration.

However, what is intriguing is the immediate reaction, as Alina broke her silence to deny any connection to the operation, stating: "I did not buy anything in the UAE... I wonder if someone exploited my personal data against me."

The mystery does not stop there; her husband Igor Shkrobanets, a member of the Chernihiv regional council and legally obligated to disclose family assets, completely omitted the villa from his financial declarations for 2023 and 2024.

In 2025, ownership of the property in Dubai was unexpectedly transferred to businessman Andriy Kipach, who runs the famous "La Veranda" restaurant in Kyiv. Although Kipach refused to disclose to journalists the identity of the initial buyer or the financial details, the digital archive had a different opinion.

A video from 2022 posted on the restaurant's Instagram account showed former Prosecutor General Kravchenko dining at the same restaurant with his ex-wife and her parents, raising major questions about the nature of the intertwined personal and financial relationships among the parties involved in these transactions.

In September 2026, officers from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) conducted a high-profile raid on the Prosecutor General's office.

Investigations indicate the existence of a "criminal organization" that laundered millions of dollars from the proceeds of fraudulent call centers, where hefty bribes were paid to officials within the Prosecutor General's office to avoid scrutiny and legal prosecution.

As the investigations heated up, Kravchenko submitted his resignation, and the Ukrainian parliament (Verkhovna Rada) overwhelmingly approved his official dismissal, with President Zelensky signing the decree of removal.

However, the most dramatic chapter was Kravchenko's disappearance from sight, as reports indicate he left the country via an official service vehicle heading to Europe just hours before the parliamentary vote, announcing via Telegram that he was on a "business trip abroad." Before his departure, Kravchenko fired shots at the anti-corruption agencies, accusing them of overreach and protesting the opening of a suspicion notice against the head of NABU himself.
