أكد مدرب المنتخب السعودي دونيس لـ«عكاظ» جاهزية «الأخضر» واستعداده لمواجهة المنتخب القطري، مشدداً على أن الثقة بين اللاعبين والإيمان بالخطة والثبات الذهني تمثل عوامل مهمة في التعامل مع مختلف ظروف المباراة، لافتاً إلى أن المنتخب سيخوض المواجهة بثقة ودون ضغوط، مع المحافظة على المرونة التكتيكية هجومياً ودفاعياً.

وقال دونيس لـ«عكاظ» عن جاهزية المنتخب واستعداده للمواجهة: «المجموعة بأكملها وجميع اللاعبين جاهزون لمساعدة المنتخب، والأولوية بالنسبة لي هي معرفة حالة كل لاعب واختيار العناصر الأكثر جاهزية والقادرة على اللعب بالحدة المطلوبة. نريد مواصلة الأداء الجيد، واللعب بالشغف والسرعة نفسيهما، وإظهار قدراتنا داخل الملعب».

وأضاف: «من الطبيعي أن يمر المدربون واللاعبون بمواقف مختلفة، فهم بشر في النهاية، لكن الأهم بالنسبة لنا أن يؤمن اللاعبون بزملائهم وبالخطة الموضوعة، وعندها يشعرون براحة وثقة أكبر، ويصبحون مستعدين للتعامل مع أي موقف داخل الملعب».

وتابع: «خطوة بخطوة أصبحنا أكثر جاهزية كفريق. سواء سارت الأمور بالشكل الذي نريده أو واجهتنا صعوبات، يجب أن نحافظ على ثباتنا الذهني ونجد الحل المناسب لكل موقف، وهذا أمر مهم جداً بالنسبة لنا».

وأوضح دونيس أن وضوح الأدوار يمثل عنصراً أساسياً في عمل الجهاز الفني، قائلاً: «الخطة واضحة للاعبين، ونتعامل مع كل مباراة على حدة. نريد أن تكون للمنتخب هوية وفكرة محددة، وفي الوقت نفسه يجب أن نمتلك المرونة في التحول بين الدفاع والهجوم والتعامل مع ظروف المباراة المختلفة».

وعن مواجهة قطر، قال: «كل مباراة تمنحنا مزيداً من الثقة والروح للاستمرار والتقدم خطوة أخرى. سنواصل العمل نفسه الذي قمنا به في المباريات الماضية، من خلال تحليل المنافس والتركيز على النقاط المهمة في طريقة لعبه».

وأضاف: «قطر منتخب يمتلك الخبرة وهو منتخب جيد، وأعتقد أنه في مستوى أعلى من المنتخبات الثلاثة التي واجهناها سابقاً. نعرف أنها ستكون مباراة قوية، ولذلك علينا ألا نضع ضغوطاً إضافية على أنفسنا، وأن ندخل أرض الملعب بثقة كبيرة ونواصل اللعب بالطريقة نفسها، وأن نكون أقوياء هجومياً ودفاعياً».

وشدد دونيس على أهمية التركيز، قائلاً: «الإحصاءات مهمة جداً في كرة القدم، لكن الأهم بالنسبة لنا هو التركيز، وهو ما ظهر في مبارياتنا الثلاث الماضية. التركيز يبدأ من الحصة التدريبية والفندق ويستمر حتى دخول اللاعبين إلى أرض الملعب».

وتابع: «لاعبونا يعملون كمجموعة واحدة ومتماسكة، ويدعم بعضهم بعضاً، وهناك تواصل جيد بينهم داخل الملعب، سواء عندما نمتلك الكرة ونبني الهجمات أو عندما نكون في الحالة الدفاعية».

وأكد أن الجهاز الفني يدرس المنافس دون التخلي عن هوية الأخضر، وقال: «لكل مدرب ولكل منتخب أسلوبه الخاص. نحلل المنافس ونركز على بعض التفاصيل التي تتطلب تركيزاً عالياً واتخاذ القرارات الصحيحة، لكن الأهم بالنسبة لنا هو الاستمرار في تطبيق أسلوبنا».

وأضاف: «أؤمن بأننا نمتلك الجودة، خصوصاً عندما تكون الكرة معنا. علينا أن نكون أكثر هدوءاً وثقة، وأن نتطور خطوة بخطوة في اتخاذ القرارات الصحيحة وتحسين التحركات واللمسة الأخيرة».

وعن ضغط المباريات، أوضح دونيس: «خوض ثلاث مباريات خلال ستة أيام ليس أمراً سهلاً، خصوصاً عندما تلعب مباراة كل ثلاثة أيام، ولذلك علينا متابعة الحالة البدنية للاعبين ومعرفة الأكثر جاهزية للمباراة التالية، ثم اتخاذ القرار بشأن التشكيلة الأساسية».

وأضاف: «لم نكن محظوظين بسبب فقدان عدد من اللاعبين، وأعلنا غياب زكريا هوساوي عن المباراة القادمة، كما نحتاج إلى معرفة مدى جاهزية حسان تمبكتي، الذي لم يتدرب مع المجموعة، وبعد تقييم حالته سنتخذ القرار المناسب».

وأوضح دونيس أن طبيعة المواجهة تفرض حسابات مختلفة، قائلاً: «هذه المباراة مختلفة، لأنها مباراة واحدة وليست ضمن دور المجموعات، ولذلك علينا اتخاذ القرارات الصحيحة واختيار اللاعبين الذين يملكون الجاهزية والقدرة على مساعدة المنتخب».

وكشف مدرب الأخضر عن العمل الذي قام به منذ توليه المهمة، قائلاً: «أنا موجود في كرة القدم السعودية منذ عام 2015 عندما وقعت مع الهلال، وعندما توليت تدريب المنتخب في أبريل حاولت الوصول إلى خلاصة لما حدث مع المنتخب خلال السنوات العشر الماضية، سواء في الجوانب الإيجابية أو الأمور التي تحتاج إلى تحسين».

وتابع: «حللنا معظم مباريات المنتخب والأرقام والإحصاءات، وعدد الفرص التي نصنعها في كل مباراة، وما نحتاج إلى تطويره في التحولات والكرات الثابتة وكيفية التحكم في المباريات. من الطبيعي أن يكون لكل مدرب أسلوبه، لكن هدفنا معرفة الجوانب التي يمكن البناء عليها وتطويرها».

وأشار إلى تجاوب اللاعبين مع الجهاز الفني، وقال: «لم تكن لدينا فترة طويلة للعمل، لكن الأمر الإيجابي هو استجابة اللاعبين. عندما نقدم لهم المعلومات والتعليمات التكتيكية، يحاولون دائماً تقديم أفضل ما لديهم وتنفيذ المطلوب، وهذا مهم جداً عندما لا تملك وقتاً طويلاً معهم».

وأضاف: «نعمل خطوة بخطوة على بناء منتخب قادر على الركض والضغط بصورة أكبر، والتركيز في التحولات الدفاعية، والتطور في التعامل مع الكرات الثابتة دفاعياً، وأعتقد أننا قدمنا عملاً أفضل في المباريات الثلاث الماضية».

وتابع: «عندما نمتلك الكرة، يجب أن يعرف كل لاعب واجباته التكتيكية بدقة وأن يتخذ القرار الصحيح، كما نعمل على تحسين تحركات المهاجمين واللاعبين الهجوميين داخل منطقة الجزاء. علينا مواصلة تطوير هذه التفاصيل خطوة بخطوة لبناء منتخب قوي».

وشدد دونيس على أهمية المحافظة على المستوى الذي وصل إليه الأخضر، قائلاً: «هذه أولويتي منذ أبريل. عندما نصل إلى معايير معينة علينا المحافظة عليها، ثم إضافة شيء جديد والتقدم خطوة أخرى في كل مرة، والاستمرار بالروح نفسها».

وعن الجماهير السعودية، اختتم دونيس حديثه قائلاً: «الأجواء في المباريات الثلاث الماضية كانت رائعة، والجماهير قدمت لنا دعماً كبيراً وصنعت أجواء مميزة. نريد خوض مثل هذه المباريات أمام مدرجات ممتلئة، وأعتقد أن جماهيرنا ستكون اللاعب الإضافي لنا».

He continued: "Step by step, we have become more ready as a team. Whether things go the way we want or we face difficulties, we must maintain our mental stability and find the right solution for each situation, which is very important for us."

Donis explained that clarity of roles is a fundamental element in the work of the coaching staff, saying: "The plan is clear to the players, and we treat each match separately. We want the national team to have a specific identity and idea, while at the same time, we must have the flexibility to switch between defense and attack and deal with different match circumstances."

Regarding the match against Qatar, he said: "Every match gives us more confidence and spirit to continue and take another step forward. We will continue the same work we did in previous matches by analyzing the opponent and focusing on the important points in their style of play."

He added: "Qatar is a team with experience and is a good team. I believe they are at a higher level than the three teams we faced previously. We know it will be a strong match, so we must not put additional pressure on ourselves, enter the field with great confidence, continue to play in the same way, and be strong both offensively and defensively."

Donis emphasized the importance of focus, saying: "Statistics are very important in football, but what is most important for us is focus, which has been evident in our last three matches. Focus starts from the training session and the hotel and continues until the players enter the field."

He continued: "Our players work as one cohesive group, supporting each other, and there is good communication among them on the field, whether when we have the ball and build attacks or when we are in a defensive situation."

He confirmed that the coaching staff studies the opponent without abandoning the identity of the Green, saying: "Every coach and every team has its own style. We analyze the opponent and focus on some details that require high concentration and making the right decisions, but what is most important for us is to continue applying our style."

He added: "I believe we have the quality, especially when the ball is with us. We need to be calmer and more confident, and to develop step by step in making the right decisions and improving movements and the final touch."

Regarding the pressure of matches, Donis explained: "Playing three matches in six days is not easy, especially when you play a match every three days. Therefore, we need to monitor the physical condition of the players and know who is most ready for the next match, then make a decision regarding the starting lineup."

He added: "We haven't been lucky due to losing several players, and we announced the absence of Zakaria Hawsawi from the next match. We also need to know the readiness of Hassan Tambakti, who has not trained with the group, and after evaluating his condition, we will make the appropriate decision."

Donis explained that the nature of the confrontation imposes different calculations, saying: "This match is different because it is a single match and not part of the group stage. Therefore, we must make the right decisions and choose players who have the readiness and ability to assist the national team."

The Green coach revealed the work he has done since taking over, saying: "I have been in Saudi football since 2015 when I signed with Al-Hilal. When I took over the national team in April, I tried to summarize what happened with the team over the past ten years, both in positive aspects and areas that need improvement."

He continued: "We analyzed most of the national team's matches, the numbers and statistics, the number of chances we create in each match, what we need to develop in transitions and set pieces, and how to control matches. It is natural for every coach to have his own style, but our goal is to identify the aspects we can build on and develop."

He pointed to the players' responsiveness to the coaching staff, saying: "We did not have a long period to work, but the positive thing is the players' response. When we provide them with information and tactical instructions, they always try to give their best and implement what is required, which is very important when you don't have a long time with them."

He added: "We are working step by step to build a team capable of running and pressing more, focusing on defensive transitions, and improving in dealing with set pieces defensively. I believe we have done better in the last three matches."

He continued: "When we have the ball, every player must know his tactical duties precisely and make the right decision. We are also working on improving the movements of the forwards and attacking players inside the penalty area. We must continue to develop these details step by step to build a strong team."

Donis emphasized the importance of maintaining the level the Green has reached, saying: "This has been my priority since April. When we reach certain standards, we must maintain them, then add something new and take another step forward each time, continuing with the same spirit."

Regarding the Saudi fans, Donis concluded his remarks by saying: "The atmosphere in the last three matches was wonderful, and the fans provided us with great support and created a special atmosphere. We want to play such matches in front of full stands, and I believe our fans will be an additional player for us."
