أدانت الحكومة العراقية، اليوم الأحد، الهجوم الذي استهدف مطار الملك خالد الدولي في العاصمة السعودية الرياض، مؤكدة رفضها لأي اعتداء يطال المدنيين والمنشآت الحيوية ويهدد أمن المنطقة واستقرارها.

وجاء الموقف العراقي في بيان رسمي للناطق باسم القائد العام للقوات المسلحة، صباح النعمان، الذي شدد على رفض بغداد لأي تصعيد عسكري أو أعمال عدوانية «تعمّق الخلافات وتترك آثارًا سلبية على السلم الإقليمي»، داعيًا إلى وقف شامل للعمليات العسكرية وتجنيب المدنيين تبعاتها، وضمان عدم تعرض المنشآت المدنية للأذى.

وأكد النعمان دعم العراق للحوار والتفاهم بوصفهما بديلًا عن العنف، وتغليب المصالح المشتركة للشعوب المتآخية، مشيرًا إلى أهمية حماية حرية الملاحة والطيران في المنطقة وتعزيز الاستقرار الاقتصادي والتنموي.
في السياق ذاته، أعربت حكومة إقليم كردستان العراق عن إدانتها الشديدة للهجوم، مقدمة تعازيها لقيادة المملكة ولعوائل الضحايا، ومؤكدة تضامنها الكامل مع السعودية وضرورة وقف التصعيد وحماية أرواح المدنيين وصون أمن المنطقة.

The Iraqi government condemned, today Sunday, the attack that targeted King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, affirming its rejection of any aggression against civilians and vital facilities that threatens the security and stability of the region.

The Iraqi stance came in an official statement from the spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Sabah Al-Nauman, who emphasized Baghdad's rejection of any military escalation or aggressive acts "that deepen disputes and leave negative impacts on regional peace," calling for a comprehensive halt to military operations and protecting civilians from its repercussions, as well as ensuring that civilian facilities are not harmed.

Al-Nauman confirmed Iraq's support for dialogue and understanding as alternatives to violence, prioritizing the common interests of the fraternal peoples, pointing to the importance of protecting freedom of navigation and aviation in the region and enhancing economic and developmental stability.
In the same context, the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq expressed its strong condemnation of the attack, offering its condolences to the leadership of the Kingdom and the families of the victims, and reaffirming its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and the necessity of halting escalation and protecting civilian lives and ensuring the security of the region.
