في لحظات خاطفة تحولت رحلة أربعة طلاب جامعيين إلى مأساة مؤلمة، بعدما فقدت سيارة كانوا يستقلونها السيطرة على أحد الطرق المرتفعة في مدينة مومباي الهندية، لتسقط من أعلى الجسر في حادثة أسفرت عن وفاة ثلاثة منهم وإصابة الرابع بجروح خطيرة.
وثقت كاميرات المراقبة تفاصيل الحادثة المروعة، حيث ظهرت السيارة وهي تسير بسرعة عالية على الطريق الساحلي، قبل أن تفقد مسارها عند أحد المنعطفات، وتصطدم بالحاجز الخارجي للطريق المرتفع، ثم تنطلق في الهواء وتنقلب عدة مرات، قبل أن تهوي من ارتفاع عشرات الأمتار وتسقط داخل موقع إنشاءات أسفل الجسر.
وبحسب الشرطة، تشير التحقيقات الأولية إلى أن السرعة المرتفعة كانت من العوامل الرئيسية في وقوع الحادثة، إذ فقد قائد السيارة السيطرة عليها بالقرب من منطقة «لوتس جيتي»، لتصطدم بالحاجز وتسقط من الطريق المرتفع إلى موقع البناء في الأسفل.
وأدى الاصطدام العنيف إلى تحطم السيارة بشكل كبير، فيما سارعت فرق الإنقاذ إلى موقع الحادثة، وتمكنت من نقل الطلاب الأربعة إلى مستشفى «ناير» في مومباي لتلقي العلاج.
ورغم جهود الفرق الطبية، أعلن الأطباء وفاة ثلاثة من المصابين، وهم شاناي غاجار، البالغ من العمر 21 عامًا، وأديتيا جاكاسانيا، 19 عامًا، إلى جانب ديريا سيث، البالغ 17 عامًا، بينما نُقل الطالب الرابع إلى قسم الإصابات، حيث يخضع للعلاج إثر إصابته بجروح خطيرة.
ووفقًا لوسائل إعلام هندية، فإن الطلاب الأربعة ينحدرون من مدينة أحمد آباد، وكانوا يدرسون في كلية تابعة لجامعة «NMIMS» في مومباي. وأشارت التقارير إلى أن شاناي غاجار كان يقود السيارة المملوكة لعائلته لحظة وقوع الحادثة.

Surveillance cameras captured the details of the horrific incident, showing the car speeding along the coastal road before losing its path at one of the curves, crashing into the outer barrier of the elevated road, then launching into the air and flipping several times before plummeting from a height of several meters and landing inside a construction site beneath the bridge.
According to the police, initial investigations indicate that high speed was one of the main factors in the occurrence of the incident, as the driver lost control of the vehicle near the "Lotus Ghat" area, crashing into the barrier and falling from the elevated road to the construction site below.
The violent collision caused significant damage to the car, while rescue teams rushed to the scene of the incident and managed to transport the four students to Nair Hospital in Mumbai for treatment.
Despite the efforts of the medical teams, doctors announced the death of three of the injured, namely Shanai Gajar, 21 years old, Aditya Jakasania, 19 years old, and Derya Seth, 17 years old, while the fourth student was taken to the trauma department, where he is receiving treatment for serious injuries.
According to Indian media, the four students hail from the city of Ahmedabad and were studying at a college affiliated with NMIMS University in Mumbai. Reports indicated that Shanai Gajar was driving the car owned by his family at the time of the incident.
