أثار مقطع مصوّر من أحد مساجد ريف دمشق موجة واسعة من التعليقات، بعدما وثّق لحظة تجمع بين الصدقة والسرقة في مشهد واحد، إذ ظهر شاب يخرج مالًا من جيبه ليمنحه لامرأة متسولة، قبل أن يتجه بعد ثوانٍ إلى دراجة نارية مركونة قرب المكان ويقوم بسرقتها دون تردد.

المفارقة التي جمعت بين فعل خير عابر وجريمة واضحة أربكت المتابعين، إذ رأى البعض في سلوك الشاب صورة مشوّهة لـ(روبن هود)؛ نسبةً إلى الفارس النبيل الذي كان يسرق من الأغنياء لكي يعطي الفقراء، وهو وصف قد يجانب الحقيقة كثيرًا لأن أصحاب الدراجات النارية غالبًا ما يكونون في عداد الفقراء الذين يلهثون لتأمين حياة كريمة لهم ولعيالهم. بينما اعتبر آخرون أن التصدق بمال حرام لا يبرّر الفعل ولا يغيّر من طبيعته، مستشهدين بقول أبي حنيفة: «إن الله طيب ولا يقبل إلا طيبًا».

وتداول آخرون تفسيرًا شعبيًا ساخرًا مفاده أن الشاب ربما أراد أن «يستفتح» سرقته بصدقة صغيرة، أملاً في ألّا يُفضح أو يُمسك متلبسًا، وفق القاعدة المتداولة بأن «حتى اللص يذكر اسم الله وهو يضع المفتاح في باب البيت الذي يسرقه».

وتداول رواد مواقع التواصل المقطع على نطاق واسع، وسط تعليقات متباينة بين السخرية والاستغراب، فيما لم تُعرف بعد هوية الشاب أو مصير الدراجة المسروقة.

A young man was seen taking money out of his pocket to give to a begging woman, before heading seconds later to a motorcycle parked nearby and stealing it without hesitation.

The paradox that brought together a fleeting act of goodness and a clear crime confused viewers. Some saw the young man's behavior as a distorted image of (Robin Hood); referring to the noble knight who stole from the rich to give to the poor, a description that may stray far from the truth since motorcycle owners are often among the poor who are struggling to secure a decent life for themselves and their families. Meanwhile, others argued that donating stolen money does not justify the act or change its nature, citing Abu Hanifa's saying: "Indeed, God is good and does not accept except what is good."

Others circulated a sarcastic popular interpretation suggesting that the young man might have wanted to "open" his theft with a small charity, hoping not to be exposed or caught in the act, according to the common saying that "even a thief mentions God's name while putting the key in the door of the house he is stealing."

Social media users widely shared the clip, amid varying comments of sarcasm and astonishment, while the identity of the young man and the fate of the stolen motorcycle remain unknown.
