في مشهد إنساني مؤثر، غلبت الدموع والد مضيفة الطيران المصرية عزة رمزي وهو يتحدث عن ابنته التي توفيت متأثرة بإصابتها جراء الهجوم الذي استهدف مطار الملك خالد الدولي في الرياض، معبرًا عن حزنه العميق وأمنيته الأخيرة بأن تُدفن إلى جوار والدتها الراحلة.

واستعاد الأب خلال حديث إعلامي ذكريات ابنته، مشيرًا إلى أن والدتها توفيت قبل أربعة أعوام، وأن أكثر ما يخفف مصابه اليوم هو عودة جثمانها إلى مصر ليوارى الثرى بين أفراد عائلتها.

وعادت عزة رمزي إلى وطنها جثمانًا بعد أيام من ترقب أسرتها، لتنتهي رحلة الانتظار بمراسم وداع مهيبة خيمت عليها مشاعر الحزن والأسى.

وتتحدر عزة، البالغة من العمر 28 عامًا، من منطقة العطف التابعة لمركز المحمودية بمحافظة البحيرة، وكانت تعمل مضيفة جوية لدى إحدى شركال الطيران السعودية، وتقيم في المملكة بحكم عملها.

وتحوّلت قصتها إلى واحدة من أكثر القصص الإنسانية تأثيرًا بين ضحايا الهجوم، خاصة بعد وصول جثمانها إلى مصر، حيث شيعها آلاف المشيعين إلى مثواها الأخير وسط حالة من الحزن التي سادت مسقط رأسها.

وكانت هيئة الطيران المدني السعودية قد أعلنت أن الاعتداء الذي استهدف مطار الملك خالد الدولي تسبب في وفاة 12 شخصًا من مواطنين ومقيمين وإصابة 309 آخرين، فيما ضمت قائمة المتوفين جنسيات متعددة، بينها مواطنون ومقيمون من مصر والأردن وفلسطين وسوريا والسودان وبنغلاديش والولايات المتحدة.

During a media interview, the father recalled memories of his daughter, noting that her mother passed away four years ago, and that what eases his grief today is the return of her body to Egypt to be laid to rest among her family.

Azza Ramzy returned to her homeland as a body after days of her family's anticipation, ending the waiting period with a grand farewell ceremony overshadowed by feelings of sadness and mourning.

Azza, who was 28 years old, hailed from the Al-Aftah area of the Mahmoudiya Center in Beheira Governorate, and worked as a flight attendant for one of the Saudi airlines, residing in the kingdom due to her job.

Her story has become one of the most impactful human stories among the victims of the attack, especially after her body arrived in Egypt, where thousands of mourners accompanied her to her final resting place amidst a prevailing atmosphere of sorrow in her hometown.

The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority announced that the attack on King Khalid International Airport resulted in the deaths of 12 individuals, both citizens and residents, and injured 309 others, with the list of deceased including multiple nationalities, among them citizens and residents from Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Sudan, Bangladesh, and the United States.
