تعرض خط لنقل المشتقات النفطية، يربط بين بانياس وحمص، لثقب في منطقة حديدة بريف حمص وسط سوريا، ما تسبب في تسرب كميات كبيرة من البنزين وإغلاق الطريق الواصل بين حمص وطرطوس.
ونقلت مصادر في الشركة السورية للبترول أن الجهات المعنية سارعت إلى تأمين موقع الحادث وعزل المنطقة، عبر إغلاق الصمامات الرئيسية الواقعة على جانبي الثقب، بهدف الحد من التسرب والسيطرة عليه.
وأضافت المصادر أن الفرق الفنية وفرق الإطفاء والحفر استنفرت للتعامل مع الحادث، بالتزامن مع بدء أعمال الصيانة العاجلة لإصلاح الأنبوب ومعالجة الأضرار.
ولا تزال الفرق المختصة في الموقع لمتابعة تطورات الوضع، واتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لضمان السلامة والحد من المخاطر الناجمة عن تسرب الوقود.
A pipeline for transporting oil derivatives, connecting Baniyas and Homs, was punctured in the Hudeida area in the countryside of Homs in central Syria, causing a large amount of gasoline to leak and closing the road between Homs and Tartus.
Sources in the Syrian Petroleum Company reported that the relevant authorities rushed to secure the accident site and isolate the area by closing the main valves located on either side of the puncture, in order to limit and control the leak.
The sources added that technical teams, firefighting crews, and drilling teams were mobilized to deal with the incident, coinciding with the start of urgent maintenance work to repair the pipeline and address the damages.
The specialized teams are still on site to monitor the situation's developments and take the necessary measures to ensure safety and mitigate the risks resulting from the fuel leak.
