U.S. President Donald Trump said, "In the world of politics, I trust no one." This came in response to a question about whether he trusts Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

During an interview with "Newsmax," Trump addressed several issues, including the use of nuclear weapons, the possibility of issuing a presidential pardon for himself, and the pursuit of Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar.

Speaking about the "Mother of All Bombs," which CNN reported the U.S. is considering using against Iran if fighting resumes, Trump emphasized that it is a conventional weapon and not nuclear, stating, "It is not nuclear at all. It is just an extremely large bomb, similar to a small nuclear bomb, but it is not nuclear." He added that he does not intend to resort to nuclear weapons, saying, "We don't need that. We are the greatest nuclear power in the world, and we have a nuclear arsenal that exceeds that of Russia. Russia is second, and China is third."

Regarding the possibility of issuing a presidential pardon for himself, the U.S. president said he is not thinking about it because, in his words, "he has not committed any wrongdoing," adding that he could have granted himself a pardon before leaving office in his first term. He clarified that what concerns him is protecting his staff from what he described as "years of frivolous prosecutions," stating that he does not want them to go through the same experience he went through.

Concerning Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar, Trump described her as a "twisted character" and "extremely corrupt," but he denied any involvement in the actions related to her, asserting that it is the jurisdiction of the Department of Justice. He said, "I am not involved in that. I read the news and watch it like everyone else," adding that the decision is "up to the Department of Justice."
