أعلن الجيش اليمني استهداف قيادات ميدانية ومواقع لمليشيا الحوثي. ونشر المتحدث باسم القوات المسلحة اليمنية العقيد ماجد النزيلي، اليوم (الجمعة)، مشاهد من عمليات استهداف قيادات ميدانية وتعزيزات ووسائل ومواقع عسكرية تابعة للحوثيين، ضمن عملية "فجر اليمن".

وأشار المتحدث إلى أن هذه العمليات تأتي لتفكيك قدرات الحوثيين، وإزالة مصادر التهديد وفقاً للخطة العملياتية.

فيما أعلن تحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن، (الجمعة)، اعتراض وتدمير طائرة مسيرة أطلقت باتجاه المنطقة الشرقية في السعودية، بحسب ما أورد المتحدث باسم التحالف اللواء الركن تركي المالكي في منشور على منصة "إكس".

وكان أعضاء مجلس الأمن الدولي، أدانوا أمس (الخميس)، الهجمات المتواصلة التي يشنها الحوثيون ضد السعودية، بما في ذلك الهجمات التي استهدفت الطيران المدني والبنية التحتية للطاقة. ونقل موقع "أخبار الأمم المتحدة" عن بيان صادر عن رئيس المجلس، أن ذلك يشمل "الضربات المتهورة التي استهدفت مطار الملك خالد الدولي" في 10 و11 أكتوبر، فضلاً عن ضربات متعددة استهدفت مطارات أخرى ومنشآت تابعة لشركة أرامكو.

وجدد أعضاء المجلس إدانتهم لاستمرار هجمات الحوثيين وتهديداتهم للملاحة التجارية في البحر الأحمر وباب المندب، وشددوا على أهمية الحفاظ على سلامة السفن التجارية وأطقمها.

وأعرب الأعضاء عن تضامنهم مع السعودية في مواجهة الهجمات التي تستهدف المدنيين والأعيان المدنية، مؤكدين حق المملكة في الدفاع عن نفسها وفقاً للقانون الدولي. وطالب أعضاء المجلس الحوثيين بالوقف الفوري للتصعيد العسكري والهجمات التي تستهدف المدنيين والأعيان المدنية، مؤكدين دعم مجلس الأمن للحكومة اليمنية والتزام أعضائه القوي بوحدة اليمن وسيادته واستقلاله وسلامة أراضيه.

ودعوا إلى "التعاون العملي، بما في ذلك مع حكومة اليمن، لمنع الحوثيين من الحصول على الأسلحة وما يتصل بها من أعتدة والمساعدة التقنية والتدريب والتمويل وغير ذلك من أشكال المساعدة المتصلة بالأنشطة العسكرية اللازمة لشن مزيد من الهجمات". وشدد البيان على أن "السلام المستدام في اليمن لا يمكن تحقيقه عن طريق العنف أو الإكراه أو استخدام القوة".

The Yemeni army announced the targeting of field leaders and locations of the Houthi militia. The spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, published today (Friday) footage of operations targeting field leaders, reinforcements, military means, and locations belonging to the Houthis, as part of the "Dawn of Yemen" operation.

The spokesperson indicated that these operations aim to dismantle the capabilities of the Houthis and eliminate sources of threat according to the operational plan.

Meanwhile, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced on (Friday) the interception and destruction of a drone launched towards the eastern region of Saudi Arabia, according to a statement by the coalition spokesperson, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, in a post on the "X" platform.

Members of the United Nations Security Council condemned yesterday (Thursday) the ongoing attacks carried out by the Houthis against Saudi Arabia, including attacks targeting civil aviation and energy infrastructure. The "United Nations News" website reported a statement from the council's president, indicating that this includes "the reckless strikes that targeted King Khalid International Airport" on October 10 and 11, as well as multiple strikes targeting other airports and facilities belonging to Aramco.

The council members reiterated their condemnation of the continued Houthi attacks and threats to commercial navigation in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the safety of commercial vessels and their crews.

The members expressed their solidarity with Saudi Arabia in facing attacks targeting civilians and civilian objects, affirming the kingdom's right to defend itself in accordance with international law. They called on the Houthis to immediately cease military escalation and attacks targeting civilians and civilian objects, reaffirming the Security Council's support for the Yemeni government and its members' strong commitment to Yemen's unity, sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
