عاد مشجع أوغندي من ملعب هويما بقميص إمام عاشور، بعدما قطع 260 كيلومترًا من مدينة فورت بورتال لمساندة الأهلي المصري أمام كيتارا الأوغندي، في رحلة منحته فرحة الانتصار وتذكاراً من نجمه المفضل.

بدأت حكايته برغبة في مشاهدة الفريق الذي اختاره بقلبه، رغم المسافة التي تفصله عنه. وحين حضر الأهلي إلى أوغندا، وجد الفرصة ليقترب من لاعبيه ويشجعهم من المدرجات، حاملاً محبة عبّر عنها بوصف النادي المصري بـ«نادي القرن» والفريق الأول في أفريقيا.

وكان لإمام عاشور مكان خاص في حديثه؛ إذ اختاره لاعبه المفضل، قبل أن تمنحه نهاية المباراة لحظة ستبقى مرتبطة بهذه الرحلة. فأثناء مغادرته الملعب، أهداه لاعب الأهلي قميصه، ليعود المشجع بما هو أبعد من ذكرى حضور مباراة.

وجاءت الهدية بعد فوز الأهلي على كيتارا بنتيجة 2–1 في ذهاب دور الـ32 من كأس الكونفدرالية الإفريقية، لتكتمل فرحة المشجع الذي تكبّد مشقة الطريق من أجل مؤازرة فريقه.

وبين فورت بورتال وهويما، اختصرت هذه الحكاية جانباً من سر شعبية كرة القدم؛ محبة تنمو بعيداً عن موطن النادي، وتقود صاحبها مئات الكيلومترات إلى المدرجات، ثم تمنحه لحظة تستحق أن تُروى.

A Ugandan fan returned from the Hoima stadium wearing Imam Ashour's jersey after traveling 260 kilometers from Fort Portal to support the Egyptian Al Ahly against the Ugandan Kitarra, in a journey that granted him the joy of victory and a memento from his favorite star.

His story began with a desire to watch the team he chose with his heart, despite the distance separating him from it. When Al Ahly came to Uganda, he found the opportunity to get closer to his players and cheer for them from the stands, expressing his love by describing the Egyptian club as the "Club of the Century" and the top team in Africa.

Imam Ashour held a special place in his talk; he chose him as his favorite player, before the end of the match granted him a moment that would remain linked to this journey. As he was leaving the stadium, the Al Ahly player gifted him his jersey, allowing the fan to return with something more than just a memory of attending a match.

The gift came after Al Ahly's victory over Kitarra with a score of 2–1 in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Confederation Cup, completing the joy of the fan who endured the hardships of the road to support his team.

Between Fort Portal and Hoima, this story encapsulated a part of the secret of football's popularity; a love that grows far from the club's homeland, leading its owner hundreds of kilometers to the stands, and then granting him a moment worth telling.
