أشاد المدير الفني للمنتخب الإماراتي الأول لكرة القدم زلاتكو داليتش، بالفوز الذي حققه المنتخب الإماراتي على نظيره اليمني بأربعة أهداف دون مقابل، في المباراة التي جمعتهما على ملعب مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة، ضمن منافسات الجولة الأولى للمجموعة الثانية من بطولة كأس الخليج العربي لكرة القدم "خليجي 27".

وأوضح داليتش خلال المؤتمر الصحفي عقب المباراة، أن أداء المنتخب في الشوط الثاني لم يكن بالمستوى ذاته الذي ظهر به في الشوط الأول، عازيًا ذلك إلى الإرهاق، مؤكداً أن التركيز ينصب حالياً على المباراة القادمة.

وأشار إلى أن لديه ذكريات جميلة من فترة وجوده في المملكة، مبينًا أن تدريب المنتخب الإماراتي يمثل تجربة جديدة بالنسبة له، وأنه يتطلع إلى بناء المنتخب من جديد، مؤكداً أن الهدف في البطولة هو تجاوز مرحلة المجموعات، والتقدم خطوة بخطوة في الأدوار القادمة.

وأكد داليتش أن هدفه بناء منتخب يمثل مجموعة واحدة دون التفريق بين اللاعبين، مشيراً إلى سعادته بتمثيل اللاعبين المجنسين للمنتخب الإماراتي، متطلعاً إلى دعم الجماهير للمنتخب خلال مشواره في البطولة.

من جهته، أكد المدير الفني للمنتخب اليمني الأول لكرة القدم نور الدين ولد علي، تحمله مسؤولية الخسارة، مشيراً إلى وجود إهمال جماعي، وأن الجهاز الفني بدأ الحديث مع اللاعبين عقب المباراة، مؤكداً أن هذه النتيجة لن تعيد المنتخب إلى ما كان عليه قبل خمسة أعوام.

وأوضح أن لاعبي المنتخب اليمني لم يخوضوا حتى تسع مباريات متتالية في الدوري، مبينًا أن الخسارة يجب أن تكون درسًا للفريق خلال المرحلة القادمة.

قدَّم ولد علي اعتذاره للجماهير اليمنية عن الخسارة، مشيراً إلى أنه حذر اللاعبين، وتحديداً في الجانب الدفاعي، أمام منتخب يمتلك المهارات، مبيناً أن الخسارة ستسهم في جعل اللاعبين أكثر يقظة خلال المباريات القادمة، ومعرفة ما يجب القيام به وما ينبغي تفاديه.

The head coach of the UAE national football team, Zlatko Dalic, praised the victory achieved by the UAE team over their Yemeni counterpart with a score of four goals to none, in the match held at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, as part of the first round of Group B in the Arabian Gulf Cup "Gulf 27".

Dalic explained during the press conference after the match that the team's performance in the second half was not at the same level as in the first half, attributing this to fatigue, and confirming that the focus is currently on the upcoming match.

He noted that he has fond memories from his time in the Kingdom, indicating that coaching the UAE national team represents a new experience for him, and that he looks forward to rebuilding the team, affirming that the goal in the tournament is to surpass the group stage and advance step by step in the upcoming rounds.

Dalic emphasized that his goal is to build a team that represents a united group without differentiating between players, expressing his happiness with the representation of naturalized players in the UAE national team, and looking forward to the support of the fans for the team during its journey in the tournament.

For his part, the head coach of the Yemeni national football team, Nour Eddin Wald Ali, confirmed his responsibility for the loss, pointing out that there was collective negligence, and that the coaching staff began discussions with the players after the match, asserting that this result will not bring the team back to what it was five years ago.

He explained that the Yemeni national team players have not even played nine consecutive matches in the league, indicating that the loss should serve as a lesson for the team in the upcoming phase.

Wald Ali apologized to the Yemeni fans for the loss, mentioning that he warned the players, particularly in the defensive aspect, against a team that possesses skills, stating that the loss will contribute to making the players more alert during the upcoming matches, and understanding what needs to be done and what should be avoided.
