دوّى صوت الرصاص داخل مركز شرطة «إلياش» بالبوسنة والهرسك، لكن المطلق لم يكن مجرماً يحاول الفرار، بل ضابط شرطة يرتدي زيه الرسمي. حينما اقتحمت قوات وكالة التحقيق الحكومية (SIPA) مكتبه لتفتيشه، أدرك الضابط أن اللعبة انتهت، فاختار إنهاء حياته برصاصة سريعة بدلاً من مواجهة فضيحة انكشاف غطائه.

لم تكن العملية مجرد اشتباه محلي، بل ضربة إستراتيجية نسقتها الشرطة الأوروبية «يوروبول». فالضابط المنتحر وُضع تحت المجهر للاشتباه في تورطه بمد عصابة «Foxtrot» السويدية (بقيادة مجيد راوا) بالأسلحة وتسهيل بيعها عبر تصاريح مزورة.

وخلال العملية، أعلنت «SIPA» ضبط تسع بنادق صيد، وخمسة مسدسات، ونحو 190 طلقة، إلى جانب وثائق مزورة يُشتبه في استخدامها للحصول بصورة احتيالية على تصاريح أسلحة وتسهيل بيع أسلحة بصورة غير قانونية. وجاءت هذه الضربة بعد أيام معدودة من زلزال أمني آخر في المنطقة، أسفر عن مصادرة 11 طناً من المخدرات الاصطناعية بقيمة 33 مليون يورو.

انتحار الضابط وسط زملائه لم يغلق القضية، بل فتح باباً مرعباً للأسئلة. لأن مصادرة بنادق الصيد والذخائر لم تكن سوى قمة الجليد، فالتحدي الأكبر الذي يواجه السلطات اليوم هو الإجابة عن سؤال مرعب: إلى أي مدى نجحت مافيا السلاح والمخدرات في اختراق المؤسسات الأمنية وشراء ولاءات من يفترض بهم حماية القانون؟ والإجابة الآن في عهدة التحقيقات، لا في جثة الضابط المنتحر.

The sound of gunfire echoed inside the "Elias" police station in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but the shooter was not a criminal trying to escape; rather, it was a police officer in his official uniform. When the agents of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) stormed his office to search it, the officer realized that the game was over, so he chose to end his life with a quick bullet instead of facing the scandal of his cover being blown.

The operation was not merely a local suspicion but a strategic strike coordinated by the European police agency "Europol." The officer who committed suicide was under scrutiny for allegedly being involved in supplying the Swedish gang "Foxtrot" (led by Majid Rawa) with weapons and facilitating their sale through forged permits.

During the operation, "SIPA" announced the seizure of nine hunting rifles, five handguns, and about 190 rounds of ammunition, along with forged documents suspected of being used to fraudulently obtain weapon permits and facilitate the illegal sale of firearms. This strike came just days after another security earthquake in the region, which resulted in the seizure of 11 tons of synthetic drugs worth 33 million euros.

The officer's suicide in front of his colleagues did not close the case; instead, it opened a terrifying door to questions. Because the seizure of hunting rifles and ammunition was merely the tip of the iceberg, the biggest challenge facing the authorities today is answering a chilling question: To what extent has the arms and drug mafia infiltrated security institutions and bought the loyalties of those who are supposed to uphold the law? The answer now lies with the investigations, not with the body of the deceased officer.
