صعّدت الولايات المتحدة عملياتها العسكرية ضد إيران بشن سلسلة ضربات استهدفت نحو 20 هدفاً عسكرياً وحيوياً قرب مضيق هرمز، في خطوة وصفتها القيادة المركزية الأمريكية بأنها رد مباشر على إسقاط مروحية أمريكية والهجمات التي تعرضت لها القوات الأمريكية والسفن التجارية الدولية خلال الأيام الماضية.
20 هدفاً في مرمى الضربات الأمريكية
وأعلنت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية أن الضربات استهدفت بدقة مواقع للدفاع الجوي الإيراني، ومحطات التحكم الأرضية، والرادارات، ومراكز المراقبة وإدارة العمليات المنتشرة بالقرب من مضيق هرمز.
وأكدت أن العملية نُفذت بعد دراسة دقيقة للأهداف، بهدف تقليص القدرات العسكرية المستخدمة في استهداف القوات الأمريكية وتأمين خطوط الملاحة الدولية في المنطقة.
واشنطن: العملية دفاعية ورد متناسب
وشددت القيادة المركزية على أن الهجمات جاءت «رداً متناسباً» على الاعتداءات الأخيرة ضد القوات الأمريكية والسفن التجارية، موضحة أن العملية تحمل طابعاً دفاعياً وتهدف إلى حماية المصالح الأمريكية وردع أي تهديدات مستقبلية.
وأضافت أن القوات الأمريكية لا تزال في أعلى درجات الجاهزية للتعامل مع أي تصعيد جديد، مؤكدة استمرار مراقبة التطورات الميدانية عن كثب.
البحرين تعترض هجمات وتطلق الإنذار
بالتزامن مع الضربات الأمريكية، أعلنت البحرين أن دفاعاتها الجوية تصدت لهجمات إيرانية، فيما أكدت وزارة الداخلية إطلاق صفارات الإنذار كإجراء احترازي في ظل التصعيد العسكري المتسارع في المنطقة.
طهران تتحدث عن أضرار وانفجارات
في المقابل، أعلن الحرس الثوري الإيراني أن الضربات الأمريكية تسببت في أضرار ببرج اتصالات في منطقة سيريك، فيما أفادت وسائل إعلام إيرانية بسماع انفجارات في بوشهر وقشم والأهواز.
كما ذكرت تقارير إيرانية أن قواتها استهدفت مواقع وقواعد أمريكية في المنطقة، من بينها الأسطول الخامس الأمريكي في البحرين، وسط تبادل للاتهامات بين الجانبين بشأن مسؤولية التصعيد.
هرمز.. بؤرة التوتر الجديدة
وتضع هذه التطورات مضيق هرمز في صدارة المشهد الأمني الإقليمي، مع تزايد المخاوف من انعكاسات المواجهة العسكرية على حركة الملاحة الدولية وإمدادات الطاقة العالمية، في ظل استمرار تبادل الضربات والتهديدات بين واشنطن وطهران.
The United States has escalated its military operations against Iran by launching a series of strikes targeting around 20 military and vital sites near the Strait of Hormuz, in a move described by the U.S. Central Command as a direct response to the downing of an American helicopter and the attacks on U.S. forces and international commercial vessels in recent days.
20 Targets in the Crosshairs of U.S. Strikes
The U.S. Central Command announced that the strikes precisely targeted Iranian air defense sites, ground control stations, radars, and monitoring and operations management centers located near the Strait of Hormuz.
It confirmed that the operation was carried out after a thorough assessment of the targets, aiming to reduce the military capabilities used to target U.S. forces and secure international shipping lanes in the region.
Washington: The Operation is Defensive and Proportional Response
The Central Command emphasized that the attacks were a "proportional response" to the recent assaults against U.S. forces and commercial vessels, clarifying that the operation has a defensive nature and aims to protect American interests and deter any future threats.
It added that U.S. forces remain at the highest levels of readiness to deal with any new escalation, confirming ongoing close monitoring of the field developments.
Bahrain Intercepts Attacks and Issues Alerts
Alongside the U.S. strikes, Bahrain announced that its air defenses intercepted Iranian attacks, while the Ministry of Interior confirmed the sounding of sirens as a precautionary measure amid the escalating military tensions in the region.
Tehran Reports Damage and Explosions
In contrast, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that the U.S. strikes caused damage to a communications tower in the Sirik area, while Iranian media reported hearing explosions in Bushehr, Qeshm, and Ahvaz.
Iranian reports also mentioned that its forces targeted U.S. sites and bases in the region, including the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, amid a mutual exchange of accusations regarding responsibility for the escalation.
Hormuz.. The New Flashpoint
These developments place the Strait of Hormuz at the forefront of the regional security scene, with growing concerns about the implications of military confrontation on international shipping and global energy supplies, amid ongoing exchanges of strikes and threats between Washington and Tehran.
