أكد الكرواتي دراغان تالاييتش، مدرب المنتخب البحريني الأول لكرة القدم، جاهزية «الأحمر» لمواجهة نظيره الإماراتي، ضمن منافسات بطولة كأس الخليج العربي «خليجي 27» المقامة في جدة، مؤكداً السعي نحو تقديم مستوى متميز وتحقيق نتيجة إيجابية تلبي طموحات الجماهير البحرينية.

وأوضح تالاييتش، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي التقديمي للمباراة، أن الجهاز الفني قام بتحليل المنتخب الإماراتي بشكل دقيق، ووقف على نقاط القوة والضعف لديه، مشيراً إلى أن الفريق استوعب الأخطاء التي ارتكبها في المواجهة الأولى، وعمل بشكل مكثف على تصحيحها لتفادي تكرارها.

وأعرب المدرب عن امتنانه العميق للدعم الكبير والحماس المتواصل من الجماهير، واصفاً إياهم بالدافع الأساسي للفريق، واعداً ببذل اللاعبين قصارى جهدهم داخل المستطيل الأخضر. واختتم تصريحاته بالتأكيد على صعوبة اللقاء وقوة المنافس، مستدركاً بأن المنتخب البحريني يدخل المباراة بثقة كاملة، واستعداد تام، وتركيز عالٍ لتقديم أداء يليق باسم الكرة البحرينية.

من جهته، شدد مهاجم منتخب البحرين، مهدي عبد الجبار، على رغبة زملائه اللاعبين في تقديم مستوى قوي يعكس شخصية المنتخب، ويؤكد طموحاتهم المشروعة في المنافسة وحصد النقاط الثلاث.

وقطع عبد الجبار الطريق أمام أي مبررات تتعلق بالعوامل الجوية قائلًا: «سبق لنا اللعب في مثل هذه الأجواء والظروف، ولذلك لا توجد لدينا أي أعذار، ونتطلع إلى تقديم مباراة قوية تليق بالمنتخب البحريني وتعكس رغبتنا في المنافسة وتحقيق النقاط الثلاث».

كما أبدى المهاجم البحريني ثقة كتيبة الأحمر المطلقة في خيارات الجهاز الفني، موضحاً: «نثق كثيراً في تكتيك المدرب وتعليماته، والجميع يدرك أهمية المباراة. كل لاعب يبحث عن تقديم أفضل ما لديه، ومساعدة زملائه للظهور بالمستوى المطلوب داخل أرضية الملعب».
